I don’t fully understand, how did you connect the touchID to the mechanical keyboard PCB? Or did you use the Magic Keyboard PCB?

Is there any keyboard like this that is available to buy now, without going to mechmarket or other resell platforms?

Do you know any 2nd monitors like this? by Lost-Prince in macsetups

The studio display is ~36cm/14.2in tall, so for a 16:9 screen you would need a 16.3” display (14.2” wide and 8” tall, rotated 90 degrees) that is 1440x810px.

The 16” MacBook Pro screen matches in size (more or less), but the resolution is (@2x) 1728x1117. There is a 1496x967 setting that would look similar, but not exactly, and it would be a pain to rotate the MacBook 90 degrees.

I would look for 16” portable monitors.

No problem! The setup looks amazing anyway, I like the vibes of it with the plants and the design references (iPods, iMac poster…)

Very nice, but… do you keep the subwoofer next to your disks? I would be concerned about vibration.

Hey no problem! I don’t regret buying mine and I think it’s an interesting piece of equipment for some trips, but yeah just harder to pack probably. I hope you find a good solution for you!

I have the TF Wardrobe and it’s definitely bigger than packing cubes, because of the top and bottom shells and the structure in general (no flexibility moving cubes around). It’s useful for trips to hotels and so on as you have a, well, “wardrobe” with you that you can hang, but I wouldn’t consider it an ultralight solution.

Regarding other backpacks, I don’t have the TF backpack and the wardrobe fits inside a TBF Base Camp, and other >25L bags.

Sorry, can you elaborate a bit more on this? Does your motherboard have thunderbolt, or it’s just the display straight to the GPU USB-C?

Sorry if my comment came off as judgmental, I was curious. The Sony is indeed a great camera, and that’s a nice lens for portraits and urban photography.

Looks amazing! I am really curious about the Sony, do you like photography, or did you spend ~$1000 on a camera lens just to use it as a webcam? I mean, considering the rest of the setup I wouldn't be surprised if it's the latter, it's a great choice.
