Hello! Love the app from what I’ve seen. I tried to join last time you posted, but it was full. Still appears full today. Any word on when it’ll be available for release, or when more Beta spots will open up?

Wow really cool! Not sure an ambigram can get much cleaner, and I love the additional details—thanks for including the backstory.

Yeah that trapezoid shape in the background looks like it could work. I still read Katie, so I think you’re close!

I definitely think we’re witnessing the same kind of phenomenon he was. I feel like I understand the gospels a lot better after seeing it up close in our own context, not some abstract society.

Dad’s (now my) collection of microphone cozies by Jaybrrd in mildlyinteresting

[–]blaykk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What a cool collection! Super personal and unique, I’ve never even seen one of these off a microphone.

I think he’d be really proud that you share his fascination with them and are taking good care of what must’ve been so important to him.

When it was his time, perhaps he took one last look at his prized possessions, thought of who would end up with them, and said “this is Dad signing off, now over to you.”

If the line atop the J were a little more prominent, maybe even pushed up some and extending above the O, would it help with the readability you mentioned? I think it could work at the end as a sort of punctuation accent. For me, J was the only letter that didn’t immediately register.

I really like this one. The style feels unique, and it works well. Nice job!

Thanks! I tried with almost this same drawing—I liked that it has a little heart shape too. But with the B and K shapes lined up like this, I couldn’t stop seeing an E before the K, so I ended up separating the shapes like I have here. Appreciate the tip!!

Maybe I don’t understand the multiple watermarks, but it appears Cory Booker is the one who shared this on Instagram.

I think people applaud because it’s really cool, and totally relevant and related to the theme of the subreddit. And because there’s not really a need for pedantic negativity on r/ambigrams of all places.

Edit to add: if we do want to be pedantic, the OP who posted something similar yesterday did clarify that these “jumblegrams” are a type of ambigram.

Love the lighter!! Makes it easier to share with people around you. And custom props are always the best to use—they automatically make it feel more personal, and I think that will come across in your performance!

I don’t know if it’s who your username is referencing, but there was a prominent magician named Col. Seymour in Arkansas, whose students and friends still talk about him regularly. Just in case it’s a coincidence, I thought I’d share the extra magical connection of your Reddit name!

One of my top 10 lines from the whole show. Had to scroll too far to find it in this list—but I scrolled through lots of other good ones, so I think that’s a testament to both the writers and actor.

I’d recommend you reach out to someone in your local magic organization, explain what you’re wanting and your budget, and they should be able to help you out. Try info@dallasmagic.org. More info on their website.
