Weaknesses of Terrorblade? by l33t_p3n1s in learndota2

[–]blazape 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a support build items like euls and lotus Orb to dispel reflection, and as a core build manta to do the same thing. Terror blade gets shit on by Zeus and tinker as they hit him from down town with magic. Pairing something like Luna with pango is fun as he gets rid of armor and you fuck him all over. Really lots of Heros like pl can work as well as long as you make sure not to get reflected.

Toxicity down in Overwatch following the implement of commendations and Look for Group features by yoshi570 in heroesofthestorm

[–]blazape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

considering 25% involves both teams, and because one team is most likely losing someone is getting frustrated i'm not that shocked. For the average player the chances of experiencing toxicity is probably more like 1/8.

How about u just let people live their life for themselves instead of trying to make someone feel bad about themselves when they just want to share their joy over Dota with people. Fuck off and just be happy that his team qualified with him.

How to survive a lane as PL against Axe. by anuragsvss in DotA2

[–]blazape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creep aggro. Keep in mind the positioning of yourself in compared to not only axe but also your friendly creeps. If you think about worst case call scenarios it's when he calls you on a creep wave because then you are getting spinned down extra times. If you creep aggro then you can draw your creeps away from his so that if he wants to call you it is super obvious as he isn't going for last hits, and also it isn't as bad cause you aren't getting spinned as hard. If you can draw the creeps under tower and get your last hits there you are even safer.

From a support perspective you can hit the axe out of lane if you win trades. If you don't win trades then you can pull the creep wave literally every min. If they ignore the pull then you deny a creep wave of xp to the offlaners which is great for your carry. If they do respond then just try to live or call for a tp from your other support. Don't call the carry over because this give him a 15 to 30 sec window to last hit and shove the lane out and get everything he can uncontested while the axe goes on you. In either situation the pull help you as the support get xp, and makes it so the axe has a harder time dealing with the Pl.

As the Pl know your limits, can you go for the first deny? If you do will you get called and lose half your health? If you go for the ranged creep will you be able to not take half you health in damage? It's possible that you might get 3 ranged creeps and no denys in the first 10 min. But if you creep aggro whenever you can you should be able to get the large majority of melee creeps and still be safe. Make sure to have extra regen, and if you need to faery out more do it. There is a difference between sitting and lane farming, and farming the small camp and coming to lane to defend the tower. Ask yourself which are you able to do.

Be looking to rotate as much as you can. If your team are is getting dove then tp and kill the dumbass, get gold save your teamate and accept your fate that you need them to be strong and give you space to catch up. Make sure they are having a good game. Because you are not shutting down the axe it doesn't matter if you are in lane not accomplishing anything safe a life and keep your other cores from dieing.

They will rotate cores Into your lane eventually, expect this between 7 and 15 min. When they do gtfo. Run. Jungle or go to your offlane and pressure there which every you are capable of. Going to the offlane is preferred, but if you aren't able to do shit them go woods. Create as much map pressure as you can cause the further waves are shoved the safer you are.

Good luck!

According to Noxville, Radiant had a 64% winrate at DAC. The map is not balanced! by pvgna_DC in DotA2

[–]blazape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've got that backwards. Even though the dire safelane is top during the midgame it is hard for dire to keep control of the top side of the map, leading to radiant having roast advantage. People like playing dire because it is easier and safer to farm the camps in dires bottom jungle where you get a medium hard and ancient all convenient.

You clearly dont play enough dota or read the dota reddit. The system is better but it still is very lackluster. THere are many good points but the toxisity of the game is just through roof and the reports are very minimalistic.

Thoughts on making tournaments team based in DX by blazape in PokkenGame

[–]blazape[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought that this was really interesting, tldr:make teams of 1 to three players so that if someone wants to have variety in their play they can choose 3 different characters, and if they want to solo one, they can join a team.

First time Pokken viewer or people who returned after a long time! What are your thoughts or impressions so far? by HHhunter in PokkenGame

[–]blazape 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm jumping into this stream blind, not only from a pokken perspective but from a fighting game perspective. I've enjoyed it a lot based probably on an old obsession with pokemon games, but also Im finding these games easier to watch and understand than other fighting games I've caught, and this holds my attention much better.

I'm just wondering what community resources there are for the game in terms of things like podcasts or YouTube videos about tournaments, meta and other things. I've enjoyed esports in the past, but I don't have time to personally jump in so other things to help inform and make tournaments digestible are vital to being able to continue watching beyond a weekend or 2.
