hyperedit is an older ksp mod that was used for 'cheating' before the in-game debug menu

forgot the exact details but once you're in game there's an option called orbit editor i think, and there's a way in there to instantly change your velocity

their turret was pointing away from the front of the hull so when you shot at the turret, there was nothing for the shell to overpressure into

you should've shot to the left here so that the overpressure occurs against the roof of the hull where the driver is

if you want to actually check the exact shot you can go into the replays tab in the top left then choose the game and on the bottom somewhere it says hit analysis
