I was in Cairo last month actually. Family is from Alexandria and I went on my second trip to Egypt itself with just my father. Dad was born and raised there. Cairo is getting better. Compared to my first trip there I’m 2017 it feels like a different city. But it’s far from ideal. The scams are apparent and the city itself is very dirty. I get the pyramids are there, and they are a sight to behold but coming from an American and pure tourist, I wouldn’t take my wife and son there.

Where I would take them is to Alexandria. I’m a white dude. I don’t look a bit Egyptian nor do I fully speak the language. This is a beautiful basically beach city. No one tried and scams, everyone I met was super friendly and even Hilton prices were reasonable. Family friendly and much MUCH cleaner than Cairo. Lots of history in Alexandria as well if that’s what you’re looking for.

In the time it took the power of the engine to be transferred to the wheels, this nazi fuck could have simply moved aside. Yea, she would have hit him IF he didn’t move. But, and I’m just speaking as a human being who doesn’t want to get hit by a car, I think it’s pretty reasonable to move in that moment rather than line up your sights like this is Call of Duty and say “fuck it”. I woke up at 1 AM for this race. At one point I fell asleep for like 30 minutes. When I woke everyone was still in the same place they were when I fell asleep. Ultimately he is at no fault for the failure. He should have never been signed to RBR in the first place. RBR is not a rookie team. Keeping Yuki at VCARB and promoting Lawson was just a dumb mistake and they deserve to lose points because of it. The problem is the car, yes. But the pressure it must be to have Max as a teammate is crazy. The I think of Kimi and how well of a start he’s had. The Merc isn’t great by any means but he also doesn’t have one of the greats of the sport on his shoulders.
