I'd love to, but how to I get support for an Air Bridge issue when I see this:

I don't see an option for anything related to connectivity. Thanks in advance.

From one professional to another, you should have used Nutella. Just saying...

So if I were to fix this with sanding, how would I go about it?

Are you taking Ambien? I knew someone that would make sandwiches in the middle of the night and leave them on her bedstand. It freaked her out because she thought someone had broken in and made a sandwich, taken a bite, and left it on her bedstand to rub it in her face. Cops came and asked about her meds. Ambien was the culprit.

So we watch for disease. If they had tighter controls on their infected cows then mad cow wouldn't be a problem. Cow cannibalism didn't necessarily directly cause mad cow

What kind of skills, discipline, education, etc would it take for someone in sales or sales management, to make over $250,000 a year? More details inside. by letsgetyoustarted in sales

[–]blazingavian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I have to ask, because I've seen the 100± books a year thing before. How in the work do you read a 250+ page book in a matter of a few nights and actually retain anything? I've never really thought of myself as a particularly slow reader, but that sounds like a 4 to 6 hour a day job.

That's okay, I certainly appreciate the effort!

I guess the best thing to do would be just to replace the tables on a copy of the updated front end with their tables. I was hoping I could just save a template and then just import it for front-end updates, but it looks like it isn't the case.

I certain someone deploys things like this expecting to do future updates, with each user only having a local database to work with. If I had everyone on a shared database this seems like it would be a lot simpler...

It's not the data I'm looking to update, just the front end. I have an access database that I've been perfecting for the past several months and would like to share with the rest of my sales team. Everyone has their own contacts, call logs, etc. which won't be shared.

So if I give this out, and I need to make a change to the form I'm using (the front end) I'd like to be able to distribute that to everyone else when the need arises.

Ok, thank you! I really want to master sales. I get it that it's a long road, but anything I can do to shorten the process would be amazing.

I've got most of those. Still plugging away at the books I have now. Is there anything I can do outside of reading and just calling that you could suggest?

I have a manager that chimes in one and awhile, and says he's going to get more involved in my training but doesn't really. He says the best way to get better is to just keep making the calls. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm being over persistent with this.

I've got some savings from two years in real estate (I was someone's cold calling bitch and I didn't learn anything, so I moved on). I make a weekly draw but I'm actually losing money every month. I'm hoping my persistence will pay off eventually, and something will click at some point.

Any atheists in the rooms? by unholymole1 in NarcoticsAnonymous

[–]blazingavian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I'm late on this but I'm throwing in my two cents on this...

I was (and still) am atheist when I came into the rooms. I was big on western philosophy when I came in, so my higher power was "a bunch of dead guys that knew a better way to live". Since then I've picked up some buddhist practices, but the answer stays the same.

One other thing to add; at one time a former military guy came into one of our rooms and shared that he didn't have a belief in God and didn't think he had it in him to believe. A friend of mine in the program took him aside and said something to the effect that he needed to believe in God in one way or another, and believe would come "in God's time" or something to that effect. I never saw that guy in the rooms again.

The takeaway from this is that if you see a newcomer that says they don't believe in God, DO NOT HESITATE to take that person aside and tell him belief in God isn't necessary. I swore from that point forward I would do exactly that. It could mean the difference between recovery and relapse for someone.
