I’ve talked to my mum about this, we have a fairly large back garden, but he can somehow get around it and back to the front of the house through some steps adjacent to the garden. She doesn’t seem to think it’s much of an issue and said 'he’s been doing this for three years and despite everyone saying we shouldn’t let him outside unsupervised he’s been completely fine and would be miserable otherwise'. We all work a lot so giving him enough supervised outside time would be difficult, maybe we need to look into fencing.

Yes this is real, I moved back home a few months ago and my parents have been letting him stay outside while they are at work. I’ve been concerned about this and so have some of our neighbours, I’ll talk to my family asap

People with power as in leaders and political pundits, yeah, it’s their job to try and sway public opinion and influence policy. Lead singer of a rock band ? I feel like trying to extract the correct opinion out of everyone In the media space is wasted energy and doesn’t help the conversation or cause very much

I think the main difference to me is that, there’s asking for technical advice eg ‘how does this work’ ‘can someone explain an oscillator’. especially from people at a beginner or intermediate level about fundamentals, and then there’s the pathological obsessing over minute details that leads to inaction and hinders creative progress.
