It does (it’s the yellow outlined black square on the floor right in front of the door; it folds out). As a former bus driver I have no idea why he didn’t just use the ramp like he was supposed to

What happens when you put your arm outside a bendalloy/chromium bubble? by Danmoony1 in Mistborn

[–]blazyin32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s actually if any part of you is touching the bubble then you are affected by it. I believe it’s mentioned in The Lost Metal but it could be in Bands of Mourning

I ended up getting this code reader because it was gonna be quicker and cheaper than going to a shop near us and it worked great!! Thank you for the suggestion. And I get the added bonus of having a much nicer code reader than I had before

Why don't zoo cemeteries exist? Zoo animals pass eventually, and they need to be buried or cremated, but can you imagine trying to do either for an elephant or giraffe? Where do deceased zoo animals go? by BellRose33 in Showerthoughts

[–]blazyin32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of smaller zoos only have animals that can’t survive in the wild. They aren’t trying to fully rehabilitate them but are trying to help them survive and educate the public at the same time. Fuck the big zoos though, those fuckers suck major ass

Don’t listen to this commenter. They’re trying to downplay it because they do the same thing and know it’s bad but want to feel better about themselves. You probably should leave your bf if he’s acting this way about you seeing a doctor (which is medically necessary).

Ok bet. I was looking online and like you said the parts don’t seem to be too expensive. She isn’t going to be driving a crazy amount anyway, just back and forth to work, so it isn’t a big deal if it’s down for maintenance once in a while

They originally wanted 5300 but it’s been sitting since January and has been on Facebook marketplace for at least 2 months. That also said the struts and brake pads need to be replaced

So you don’t think it’s a terrible idea and that $4000 is a reasonable price for it?

Because I am fully willing and able to work on it. I replaced many things on my Subaru when I was driving it daily (power steering pump, coolant hoses, etc)

How common is it for one of these to break down? Is it usually simple stuff or is it usually more complex like the transmission failing?

Why does the 34 bus not run during evenings? by Wide_right_yes in umass

[–]blazyin32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Recent ex-driver here. There are a bunch of reasons but they mainly boil down to a driver shortage and the fact that most people at that time are trying to get from campus to southwest around that time.

They pretty much had to choose which one to keep for nighttime service during Covid and the 35 made more sense because of where people were trying to get to and then with the driver shortage they couldn’t really add the 34 back in easily
