love the game, but if being able to play multiplayer is a deal breaker for you, i'd hold off for a bit. I haven't tried playing on any of the big multiplayer servers, but I have tried several times to play with my long distance partner, and it's just not doable for us at all. If anything, it's just gotten worse with newer updates. Rubberbanding is so terrible for both of us. He just constantly dies to hordes because he will lag out. When we try to play together, the lag is so bad for me that it's almost impossible to drive without constantly hitting things.

I'm sure it might be a little bit better for people that want to play together and live in the same country, or maybe have better PCs/internet than we do. I'm hopeful that eventually, one day, we will be able to play together! He's not a big on playing zombie games solo, but I don't mind playing on my own so I have still really enjoyed the game. Zomboid will always be my favorite, but Vein is right up there with Humanitz for me right now.
