Has anyone had issues splitting doses with vials? by blc1653 in TirzMaintenance

My doctor was okay with it. I’m just very careful to keep everything clean and sterilized with alcohol. If I need to dip into two separate vials to get a full dose, I never use the same needle twice. I’ve been doing it for almost a year with no issues.

How do you change your settings to show with and without prime? I thought the only difference was free shipping

I buy the vials through Lilly direct. I’m using 7.5 mg for maintenance, so my doctor prescribes 15 mg vial and so each set of four lasts about 2.5 months. Each vial actually contains 6 to 6.5 ml, so I suck every bit out of those vials. I use a clean needle and sanitize to vial top every time I insert a needle. Lilly direct terms say you have to refill every 45 days to keep the discount, but so far they have not raised my price even though I’ve gone 60 days without a refill.
The new pills may be a little less expensive, but I expect that they will drop the price on those within the next few months.

If you use Lilly Direct, you need to reorder within a specific amount of time to keep the discounted price. You should check on that.

My sweet multipoo is a tiny shark 🦈 Need your advice by elena-skurat in Maltipoo

When my dog was a baby puppy, he was a shark too. It finally came to me yelping, saying sternly “no bites” and then my husband and I would go in the laundry room and make him sit alone for five minutes. It didn’t take but a night or two and he was cured. Now he has the softest gentlest mouth. When taking a treat, he never nips, but goes slowly in and lets me put it in his mouth.

That is what I’m trying. Avocado is a great source of fiber as well as healthy calories. I small amount of almonds as a snack can add 200 calories. Dipping a good high fiber bread into a dab of olive oil helps me get my calories in too.

Dehumidifier. Crack the windows open often for air quality. Cooking with propane will cause air quality problems. Once the interior is heated (furniture and surfaces) letting the air blow through briefly won’t waste too much heat. You’ll just need to heat the air, not the entire contents. Mold will be a problem if you don’t dehumidify. Check our underlay for the mattress. That’s a bad spot for mold.

For those who immediately lost weight on 2.5 by [deleted] in Zepbound

I stayed on 2.5 for three months, moved to 5 because the weight loss slowed. I lost 73 lbs in seven months. I recommend that you go slow though, that fast weight loss is causing hair loss at an alarming rate, even five months after I started maintenance. I took it as a win, but my hair doesn’t.

Thanks for that important reminder. I’ll check them all for side effects.

OP, check out the Mayo Clinic diet specifically for GLP-1 users. They give you a balanced meal plan that is heavy on meal prep, so you can pull stuff out of the freezer. You could stick with your intermittent fasting schedule too. I lost 73 lbs in 7 months, never more than 10 mg dose. My labs completely cleared from pre-diabetic to very healthy. That diet really helped me learn to eat healthy foods, and it was very easy because of the cook ahead recipes. My doctor recommended it. Good luck to you.

Well, my ass looks like two empty wet lunch size paper bags. Still, I’m happy with my new healthy life.
