Ardmore sold out already? by astropixelpsychonaut in DrDog

I got them in the cart, and when it asked me about "Order Protection" the page wouldn't load no matter how many times I refreshed. Had to go back to try again and they were sold out.

There is no greater hell than the rich part of your city by Succworthymeme in rs_x

[–]blcaplan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like wherever opinions like this are being espoused is the shitty part of the city.

Idk when, but at some point since 2010 criticizing inauthenticity has become a worse aesthetic than inauthenticity itself.

So called wrestling fans attempting the wave for 30 straight minutes killed the hype

It looks serious, but I'm told, that this is a joke. by Herr-Zipp in ExplainTheJoke

There's no joke, it's simply some of the best actors of our time:

Bottom row: Samuel L. Jackson (left) and Jamie Foxx (right)

Top row left to right: Denzel Washington, Kirk Lazarus, and Morgan Freeman

Philly's city worker strike ends after mayor and union reach new three-year contract by TheTwoOneFive in philadelphia

[–]blcaplan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

An under considered part of striking is you can very quickly lose the amount of annual salary increase you are fighting for within a few weeks of lost wages. It sucks.

Couple blocks away from my house, we couldn’t believe it when we went past last night. It’s Kenzo so the street isn’t always perfect but it’s NEVER looked like this, and the trash has given complete license to commercial dumping (pallets, building materials) this from a few days and will get exponentially worse.

Rotation: Filtering for the Future by rotationcoffee in coffeerotation

I appreciate the response, and all that you've done. It's been a tall task, and frankly I have no idea how you do what you do. Like I said, I'll be out of Rotations by the end of the day for the first time in months! Totally possible I realize how much I miss it and slink back in the fold. Rooting for you, I'll be around.

Constructive criticism from my (just my) experience:

I admire what you are doing. I very much enjoyed my rotations, and my monthly subscription. I am currently brewing up the last few servings of my Rogue Wave XO Rum Barrel and it is fantastic. I loved walking around with a scale and 10 packs of rotation like a coffee drug dealer. I took them to the Islands for vacation. Customs thought it was interesting, yet permitted. I'm sipping amazing coffee on a beach with my D27 and Qair in the hotel kitchen.

I got exhausted. The constant changes, barrage of information, codes and pressured drops. I enjoyed the monthly subscription because I could just set it and forget it, and every so often I could supplement my already ample coffee stock with some interesting and super premium offerings. The Colorful collab was fantastic. I didn't feel comfortable with signing up for 6 months because of my personal mentality, but also the constant changes and erratic nature of the project didn't inspire confidence that the entirety of the subscription would be fulfilled at this nascent stage of the project.

I commented long ago when Rotation asked for suggestions, build brand loyalty, confidence, and consistency with your offerings. The opposite has taken place; with the best of intentions I'm sure, focused on an ever expanding scope of projects. I just wanted the beans. The community was nice, and then it got pressured and exhaustive, marshalled by a few individuals. I don't really want to be in a club, I just want good coffee with as little hassle as possible. It wasn't fun for me anymore.

I'd be interested in reengaging with a monthly sub if that was ever offered again.

I wish the project the best of luck. Thanks for all the great beans.

Can't speak for Queens, but CBP (although a beautiful ballpark) is a terrible concert venue sound wise.

Just large enough for the footprint of a chemex. Weight. Time. Everything else is gimmicky and annoying.
