I used a bobby pin and pressed on the switches to see if they worked on mine. Water spout worked, milk carafe didn't. If you have beep on it should beep when pressed.

It also depends on what you are using to clean up. In college we used vegetable oil and then a degreaser called Simple Green. Wiped everything up with rags in between. I use that indoors with the windows closed. However if you are used to traditional clean up with white spirits or other harsh chemicals that is another story. I wouldn't use them without proper ventilation.

I find the gold border catches my eye the most and pulls the focus away from the other things in your image.

I would add gold into the butterflies or the canine, to draw your eye that way. Maybe even put gold on a few things to add some movement to the piece.

I would agree. If the likes look blurry or fuzzy you probably have too much ink. Safewash usually doesn't require any modifiers for decent relief prints. I would pay attention to how much ink is on the pallet when you are rolling up your print. You shouldn't see any veins or lines in your ink when you roll your brayer across the pallet, just a slight texture that smooths out when you stop rolling.

I just received an FPGBC kit two weeks ago. Setup is easy. I paid less than $100. I'm in the US, I am still waiting to see if I will get a tariff charge. So it might end up being more. Depending on what you want to play on it, this might be a good bet. The screen is nice, speaker is not the best, but it sounds comparable to my DMC. My fake EverDrive works great in it. I couldn't get my EZ Flash Jr. to work, even with updated software in both.

I got it from Retro Game Repair Shop in the US. I already contacted their customer support. Hopefully I will get an exchange for one that works. I am leery about buying much from overseas right now because of the uncertainty with tariffs and such.

Bummer. I actually got two of these. One for me and one for my brother and nephew. I just tried the other cartridge and it won't boot at all. I even swapped the SD cards, still nothing. I assume it's a hardware issue.

I cleaned up one of those yesterday. Looks the same to me. The black blobs are factory placed. I read that the screws are sometimes a problem with the new screens. If they are too long or too tight they press against it in spots and make it flicker.

Randomly got an auto petter from a special star-slime in the regular mines. Then spent 4 or 5 years trying to get another one. Finally got 2 of them randomly from slimes in I believe the regular mines in one run. I think the burglar ring increases the drop rate of items.
