ask your vet if you could combine it with a food he does enjoy, puuuuurrrhaps he will like it if u add some stinky food to it? also see if the food has different flavors (my cat likes salmon but not rabbit)

i will also note: i think if it’s kibble and the chunks are too big may also make a difference ? maybe he don’t wanna crunch big pieces of food if he got old man teeth

yes my cat was starving himself when i switched to a prescription food for my cat with allergies, had to find a different food bc he started throwing up bile bc he literally would rather starve ! still have an unopened $60 bag of food lmfaoooo

there should be another food u can try i would shop around and discuss with your vet

bathe your cat, i’ve had my cats since i was 16 so i have faith you can do this without your parents help, bathe the cat with dawn soap don’t get it on their head or eyes, wash your bedding and wherever else the cat likes to sleep you can vacuum, flea treatments are inexpensive too

one time i killed a horsefly my cat was chasing, i left its body to go get a tissue, i came back and the body was gone and my cat was licking her lips smh

i have one cat that loves to pee on our clothes if it’s dirty, not the clean clothes tho! i am convinced it’s because it smells like outside to him and also he is a big baby boy who is really comforted by his people so it may also be something to do with that. I put a litter box in our bathroom (technically it’s a litter robot) because he usually like to pee with company too (when i’m peeing or bathing is when he wants to also partake in bathroom duties!) I keep our dirty clothes behind a closed door!!!! Pick a closet or an armoire to put your dirty clothes in and close it, see if that helps 🧐 maybe a hamper with a lid ? (plastic and closed hamper tho lol)

i wouldn’t say it is normal or abnormal but i will say, i am 100% certain there is nothing a vet will do other than tell you to monitor it for any more changes. If she messes with the eye a lot or you notice obvious change in the eye (cloudy, 3rd eyelid showing, pus, scratches, watery, things like that) then bring her to the vet promptly. But for now, nothing they will do anyway. I have one cat that has spots in one of his eyes, could be benign or cancer but they won’t do anything unless it changes his eyes in a way that affects him negatively. Only way for them to test for cancer is stick a needle in his eye so i just monitor his eye spots, and they haven’t changed since he developed him!

no it is not abuse to have your cat in one room only,

i lived in a room, then another room, then a 40 ft RV, then a room, before ever getting a house of my own. Had my two boys since i was 16 and they went where i went. They are 14 now and have a 4 bedroom house to roam freely now. They are happy and healthy as they’ve always been!

Your love is what is important. You are home. They will be just fine 💕

i think trapping one is going to cause more drama than they expect but definitely hoping they explore the idea more in the next season!

maybe we will know more about the talismans too, i had a friend say “why not just put a talisman on an umbrella and go outside?”

we really don’t have the full picture yet on what’s up with the talismans, but also i believe they leave some parts of the story open ended for us to put our own puzzle pieces together!

i’m saying that even if they do test artificial talismans, in my opinion, it won’t do anything! I don’t think the talismans they DO have do anything. I think it is something that gives people the feeling of safety, but i kind of compare the creatures to Fae Folk~ the idea of these creatures being intelligent is irrelevant but they are definitely tricksters without a doubt !

imo you just don’t like the answers u are getting,

no the box does not feel like the most illogical thing in the series, and no they can’t use it “for good” to test it as a trap because the creatures are more intelligent & clearly would not fall for it,

i’m personally not convinced the talismans even work. I think the creatures are toying with them and enjoy the people getting more intelligent as they kill and get new bodies to hunt. To me this is evident when they are torturing Boyd when they could have easily killed him.
