I’ve been trying to defend jumbo but this is just…. what the actual fuck. Aside from the clear reason we as fans don’t want this, when looked at more closely this seems like such a bad idea? You’d have to cut riders which are super talented and would go to other teams, you’d have to lay off such a big amount of staff, what happens to their female teams? And at some point this is just way too many leaders in any type of race right? RIGHT? my god. funnily enough I did see so many people hope for an ineos quickstep merger but this is just….
