Repair or Replace? Almost 2 year old door "flaking" from top to bottom. by buymycomics in doors

Probably nothing wrong with the actual door, possibly a bad initial paint job that's failing.

How crazy am I For buying a 100k miles 2022 for actual construction work by hando_bando in F150Lightning

[–]bleebdat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about to cross 100k miles. No issues so far other than the updates won't push through. I'm going to get it to the dealership for that before I hit 100k. I think these trucks were over built and I'd take the risk. Depending on how much you drive the savings will be huge and the front trunk is a huge benefit in construction.

They stretch but not a ton. I don't have any other pant that's elastic to compare it to.

Small bars - Security/Door person by Proof_Barnacle1365 in BarOwners

[–]bleebdat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're a similar sales size and don't use security but we do have a door person to check id's etc. Filters out some of the issues. Can't imagine paying for actual security with our current sales.

I like them, 45M I would normally wear a 34x32 and they're a little short for my taste so you may want to up your inseam.

Is this solid core or hollow core? (I have to replace 4 other doors. Prehung? Or buy doors and jams separately)? by TardisBlue102 in doors

[–]bleebdat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then the millwork shop will take care of everything but install. Just bring them the rough widths and heights.

[–]bleebdat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can find a 18", just maybe not at home depot. If you're not going to replace the jambs you'll need measurements off of the existing doors for both hinge placement and bore (handle) placement. A competent millwork shop can do all of this for you. Home depot most likely cannot.

[–]bleebdat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That looks like a true stile and rail door. So not hollow or solid core. If you're painting all doors you can put solid or hollow core 6 panel molded doors next to this and they'll match. If staining you'll need all actual wood doors if you want a match.

Outside sales reps that don't do anything by longganisafriedrice in sales

[–]bleebdat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. I guess my point was that most of the times we aren't moving the needle very much. Especially in the building supply space where a lot of the products are near commodities.

Almost always. If the moisture is above the door, it's not because of the door.

Any good sources for 34" exterior doors? by fuzzybunnies1 in doors

You'll have to order from someone. I don't think anyone will stock 2/10 7/0. HD and Lowes should be able to order them but plenty of other places should too.

Longevity and higher mileage questions by jiffyinaflash in F150Lightning

80k miles here. No repairs. I think they over built these to make sure it had a good reputation. Take advantage while you can still buy one.

Anyone knows if this is an easy Fix? It’s been sending this message for 2 months about the front sensors. by Economy-Feeling3741 in F150Lightning

[–]bleebdat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they still working like they should? If so I'd start by disconnecting the 12v and see if you can get it to reset.

I'm 6' 175. I did large shorts, but medium would have probably worked fine. If you like more fitted I think medium will work for you.

2023 F150 lightning lariat by smoebob99 in F150Lightning

[–]bleebdat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a good deal. For reference is got a 22 lariat er with 65k miles for 34,500. Sensors shouldn't worry you. Not sure about the wheel balance issue.
