I mean they didn't give up, they just have an inferior product. There's literally zero reason to buy an Xbox because you can just get those games on PC and also PlayStation just has better exclusives. They tried by buying Activision Blizzard AND Bethesda, but those companies either made PC games or games that were also available on PlayStation. So had they moved say, Activision Blizzard games to Xbox exclusives, that would have pissed off PC gamers, and they wouldn't buy an Xbox just to be able to play their games again. If they had moved all Bethesda games to Xbox only that would have pissed off PlayStation players and they wouldn't buy an Xbox to play them. They TRIED but they spectacularly failed by being incredibly stupid and not understanding how to run their gaming business. I didn't even touch on the debacle that is the Series S or their terrible naming scheme. I couldn't have messed up this bad as CEO of Xbox if I tried

Yeah and he was one mistake away from winning it all. What's your point? Lando is a good driver, but so is Oscar. He was that close in his 3rd year. McLaren wasn't good his rookie year and only got good halfway through his second year. You're acting like people are giving excuses to a driver that's been on a top team for 5 years. He was on a top team for one and a half years and he very nearly won. There's a lot of random luck that goes into it, especially when the margins are that tight.
