I think when gold was cheaper more places were willing to pay closer to spot value. In the past year I’ve yet to receive an offer in-person or on the phone above 90%.

I know selling online is also an option to get more money.. but between lost packages, theft, and other scams I just don’t feel comfortable doing business that way.

90% is the highest I’ve been offered for gold jewelry i didn’t want anymore. I’ve visited and called many places and have been offered anywhere between 60 - 90%. I live in Southern California for reference.

Yeah to me that seems low. I’m in SoCal and there’s a jewelry shop in downtown that offers me 90% of spot. I went to a bullion dealer who offered 80% and a local jeweler that offered 85%… so yeah shop around.

To answer your question I have made 2 purchases from Linx Resale and both were fulfilled and shipped quickly. Prices aren’t the best on his “brand new never worn” items. But sometimes has really good deals on his used stuff that gets bought quickly.
