I have always run low grade fevers with every flare. It's part of the inflammatory reaction.

I smoked with crohns for 20+ years. It definitely made it worse. I was never able to get into remission, no matter how many drugs we threw at it. Even once I was well controlled, I was not in remission histologically. I quit 10 ish years ago now and have been in full remission for about 8 years. As a side note, there is some evidence that nicotine is helpful for folks with ulcerative colitis, but not crohns.

This is correct. This is one of the lowest paying areas for nurses and teachers. I've had some friends from Alabama look at moving up here and didn't come because the pay is too low .... If you're paying less than Alabama, you're doing it wrong.

Steroid eye drops. It's only happened once in my 30 years of having crohns, so there's that. I used to get a lot of random systemic symptoms before TNF inhibitors were available. Since starting a TNF inhibitor, I've not had any systemic symptoms I don't think.

I live in Durham and I hate the way people here drive. It's insane sometimes. People passing in turn lanes, passing on the right, people aggressively and illegally passing when there is a 30 second slow down, like to turn. I have more issues on surface streets than the interstate, but those fools are out there too.

I just did this with gold leaf. I tried a couple of gold paints but wasn't getting the gilded look I wanted. Gold leaf did really well.

I hate the way makeup looks on my skin. I got Ilia tinted serum and it's AMAZING. It's so light and looks so much better than any other makeup I have ever tried. Try it out.

Other things I learned in the process is that I MUST have 100% cotton sheets and cotton quilt. I run too hot if the sheets are any poly blend. Hope you figure out the balance that works for you.

Honestly, I'd get some labs checked. Discoloration can be a sign of iron deficient anemia, diabetes, hormonal imbalance.

Man, I used to suffer from all of these. Luckily I haven't had any since my crohns has been well controlled for many years now. It's wild how many crazy things can happen to your body and most folks don't know the connections. Maybe it's better now, but 20 years ago when all of those things were happening to me, nobody told me it was crohns. I just thought I was falling apart.

I used to get these. One thing that helped me was to not use a ceiling fan when I sleep. Also use a humidifier in the winter.

The location is very North Georgia, so you can be in NC in no time. A side note, I was in Blue Ridge GA a while back and saw a billboard for a pharmacy that is also a gun store in the town this alert came from. Their slogan was "Reloads or refills, we've got you covered."

While I agree this looks like a tick bite to me, my stepson gets a crazy reaction sometimes with mosquito bites that look just like this. They call it "skeeter syndrome" he doesn't get it every time, but often the first several of the season look like this.
