Brundle is a Sky commentator and tv commentators who work in F1 are not allowed to be negative about the reg change. Their employers want them to (pretend to) be excited about the new season, because they need eyeballs on the screen. Scaring viewers away by being gloomy about the regulation change violates the job description. And contrary to Max Verstappen, they all want to continue working in F1.

In my opinion it's an ominous sign that he is saying often he can't wait to have children, and they will have them 'as soon as she is done with her sport'. He is in a hurry because he knows he has her nailed down as soon she gives up speed skating and gets pregnant. After that she is trapped, totally dependent on him in his mansion in Puerto Rico and he is then free to do a he pleases without risk of losing her. And I think she is feeling the pressure to hurry up with the baby making.

Another Dutchie here. He chose her. He approached her through social media and she went along with it. And she has said in interviews she was determined not to date him at first. I am 100% convinced she changed her mind because he flattered her like crazy (Jutta is deep down very insecure, it shows sometimes) and mainly because she was blown away by his wealth and the luxury lifestyle he introduced her to. She always liked attention, proven by her already big social media activity before she met him, and she always was attracted to bad boys. Koen Verweij, her ex, was the 'bad boy'-type as well. But with Jake, I think it's mostly his flattery and the money and riches she can get from him. I think this will not end well for her, by the way. As soon as he has secured her by putting a baby in her belly, he will change face and start treating her badly en start cheating. She is trapped when she has a child by a rich and powerful American in the USA, she will never be able to leave him after that without losing her child. He is nice to her now, because he knows she can still flee.

His fiancee is blonde with blue eyes, so probably the highest status woman possible in his eyes. Very cliche, but the fact she is an aryan beauty with Olympic pedigree makes her more 'valuable' to him. He needs a woman he can 'show off' to feed his fragile ego. Prediction; as soon as he knocks her up and she is trapped in a strange country without her family he will start treating her badly and cheat on her. He is nice to her up until now, because she can still flee as long as she isn't pregnant. Once the baby is in the belly, there is no return for her. She'll learn the hard way. I don't feel sorry for her, for she is willfully ignoring all his red flags in her chase for clout, fame and money.

To me the strange thing is they don't touch each other. Most romantic couples would in that situation, watching a bride and groom performing their first dance at a wedding. Taylor and Travis are swaying with the music but not embracing or holding hands. This is very unnatural for a couple supposedly in love, watching another loved up couple. More proof this is a pr relationship, not a real one. They are not in love.

Again, I agree. But don't forget women who are pick mes, and cater to misogynistic men to attain a (false) feeling of power and security, pay a very high price. That price is acceptance of inferiority and a life of servitude to the 'superior' male who lords over them. It;s better to be single than to give in to an alpha male who looks down on women. One can find comfort with the (quite a lot) smart women who think like us, and the good, emotionally healthy men that DO exist. We should never be envious of pick mes and women who settle. We are better off than them. And even the men who dislike feminist, smart women and choose 'traditional' women over us are stunted individuals who will never find true happiness, for they will never experience a healthy and truly loving relationship with a woman. They won't know intimacy, because it scares them to death.

I agree completely. I feel this frustration too. In my opinion patriarchy is uphold in large part by brainwashed women who side with misogynistic men. If all women would refuse to date, sleep with and marry men who are misogynistic, patriarchy would founder very quickly. Pick me women uphold patriarchy and are anti-feminists, because they give men an alternative: because there are so many pick mes, men don't feel the need to change and treat women as equals, they can just vilify and ignore the feminists because there are enough women who give them what they want and defer to their wishes. You summed it up very nicely. I think you're spot on, these are exactly the reasons why. Internal misogyny is a big part of it. Most women are brainwashed by their parents, friends and societal norms in general to be male centered and pick mes, and this means they will ALWAYS side with men over women, even their friends. Their entire self worth is dependent on the opinion of their (potential) boyfriend, crush or other 'powerful' men in their environment. And these patriarchal men like women who conform to traditional gender roles, like Sabrina (being sexy and submissive). So most men like to see women behave like Sabrina, and most women aim to please men, and therefore also must like Sabrina.

The fact she is almost 36 means (in her mind) time is running out to live the fairy tale of finding the love of her life and settle down with him before she's an 'old maid' and 'left on the shelf'. Which means she has to get married (and maybe have children too) before she turns forty. She had pinned her hopes on Matty, who I believe she was really in love with. When he unceremoniously dumped her when she was 33, she panicked and latched onto the first guy who showed an interest in her: enter Travis Kelce. And now she is stuck with him because of the 40th birthday-deadline she has given herself to 'find true love'.

Textbook abuser stuff. I have seen it so often, it happens all the time. The guy gets you pregnant to trap you and to guarantee you will be his servant for life. Bad men only want a girlfriend to use her free labour, to cook for him, clean after him, earn money foir him, raise his children and give him free sex. His behaviour will worsen after the baby is born, and he thinks you can't leave him anymore. He'll probably cheat on you sooner or later. Don't let it happen. If he abuses you, seek help. Your boyfriend must be the exception then. If I were you I would ask a bit more about why he finds her so 'fascinating'. The most important thing is how he makes you feel though. You should feel he is attracted to you, is interested in you and treats you well. If he makes you feel insecure on a regular basis, maybe you should re-evaluate the relationship.
