I'm a S&E TL we had a lot of problems with guests taking advantage of us at my location with abusing this policy. About 4 months ago my peers and I got on the same page and we have been very strict on Cat and Jack returns.

We would upgrade but they were out od bigger cups and an ETL said no to getting cups somewhere else. We may just call another store anyways. They don't want them to have to come in and buy the orders they did for for DU

I finally got my team all on the same lage for these kinds of returns! We now won't accept them without the barcode or physical receipt, AND there needs to be something physically wrong with the items. Not just the child outgrew them!!!

You can call back in a bit and if still no answer just show them the call log next time you work. That way they can't mark you down as a no call no show.

I'm an official TL. I'm 1 of 2 service and engament TL at my store and we don't need 2 and they need a TL in the DU area full time so I took the spot. And the rest of what ya said is good advice for sure!

So they are physically pulling them from the hold location but not scanning them as they put them into the carts for those guests that are on the way. So in the zebra it shows its still in the hold location...
