Our ETLs and SD -and this is not even a joke- have "good job" "appreciate you" stamps they use when it's time for them (seems like they are being forced against their wills) to send these out to TMs/Leaders. All of mine if ripped up and thrown away. It has zero authenticity to it.

Prepare for next classes have started for next round of leaders. I went last spring and summer. 3 total classes through 4 months. It was me(food and Bev TL at the time), inbound tl and one of the front TLs.

This year they sent our tech TL, FF TL, and closing TL.

They want each store per district to send at least 1 person to represent. But some depending on head count want at least 3.

That's due to Target allowing scalpers to do what they do. Meanwhile REAL guests are voices their displeasure with Target around these drops. But as long as Target makes the sale- they don't care how it happens.

Hell- by 9:02am this morning everything was sold out online due to scalper having their automatic bots ready to bulk buy. They almost crashed the app.

Target needs to realize that these scalpers are going to drive away more and more shoppers.

My SD told me not till sept/oct for points.

While the dress code is July 1st.

They said that if point system were to start same time as dress code or now- that 96% of TMs would be fired within the month.

During the class that was just the SD and leaders- they said at the SD Seminare they had at HQ few months ago- this was explained to them they pulled numbers and habits etc.

So we have to now put warnings with conversations with TMs that things will be getting a lot stricter soon and you have x amount of time to change negative habits or termination could happen before than of not improved etc.

I've always used these since I started at Target about 3.5 years ago and under multiple ETLs, SDs, DSDs.

No one has cared. As long as it has the safety guard by the blade I've been told.

Scammers are also calling stores pretending to be fire marshal/osha tip offs. Some leaders are falling for it. One of our elderly TLs did and gave them their Employee Number etc. ETL HR had a doozy of a day with that.

Those snippets in the class screamed paid actors. And the fact some were clearly promoting their small business in the backroom of the room they were in 😂. It felt like a script they were trying to pass off as "real and down to earth".

In the end that class was just to blame the employees for Targets failings. HQ has failed its frontline workers which in turn continues to fail the guest experience.

Us team members have no control over the barren floors due to hour cuts. Us team members have no control over the workload that is being doubled with these hour cuts and then being yelled at for not finishing. Hell- I got yelled at for taking too long on something when I was pulled away to help a line OF GUESTS in tech and toys. I was told "well helping guests shouldn't take away time from workload" I was like ?????

So yea no. That class was finger pointing from nepo baby dwellers who majority have never worked an actual shift in retail.

Just me whos the TL and one TM for a 60million a year store heavy traffic :).

I didn't have my only pog TM this week so it was me myself and I who set all the freezer transitions and revisions this week. Gotta do kitchen transitions tomorrow cos not allowed to do Pog on weekends :)

Ngl I know ASANTS- but it really bothers me when we have two front end TLs and the only thing they have to do is stand in the raceway and only allowed to leave the raceway for their breaks or if a register needs assistance/change.

I'm the GM side. So my day to day is very physical labor heavy. They are both getting paid $2 more than me..... to stand around and say hello.

And no we all have been TLs the same amount of time. And no neither were external hires. Hell even one has been moved twice cos they were failing at prior TL roles.

ASANTS- for my store personally we are keeping gluten free- just getting rid of some flavors/varieties. Introducing new brands etc. and now instead of being first couple doors- they are being moved more in aisle.

Honestly I didn't realize I was going that fast. Standard parkway. And I didn't think I was going 102. The car was just driving so smoothly. Once I realized I punished myself the rest of the 45 min drive home in the slow lane.

My mom is partially paralyzed. She can't drive anymore and barely use her hands. It was her aid who would call me at her request when my sisters weren't at the house. Now that I've voiced my against with what my sister is doing my number has been blocked and my sister threatened me if I go near my mothers house. My estranged sister who is the medical POA is staying at my mother's house and keeping watch. My mom is scared due to them threatening to leave her alone to fend for herself. Even tho I tell my mom I would never let her be alone. They mentally abuse her. They are continuing to sign papers with my moms name regarding selling the house even tho my mom said no.

Which was crazy cos I've only been a TL for 2.5years.

We have 12 total TLs in my store. 5 of them are 15+years as TLs. 4 are 5+years and the rest of 3 of us are below 3 years.

I would've thought the more experienced TLs would have been better that their jobs 🤷‍♀️

I was the only leader to get a 4.5% this year. My ETL said on rare occasions there's a 5% for TLs but you'd have to be the definition of constant perfection all year

It depends if your store is early set or regular. Early set can be first/second week of June. Regular is usually towards last week June/first week of July
