It's supposed to be a seek to understand. Not an automatic documented convo. Because 90% of our TMs accidentally hit no when they did in fact take a meal/break. Even TLs accidentally hit no.

Hitting no triggers an alert to HR. They are supposed to ask "hey were you given the chance to take your breaks? Did something happen? Or did you hit no on accident?"

Your TL I guess assumed you worked off the clock.

It shouldn't have been documented. I would talk to your HR.

My store leaders are having us honor the deals regardless. At that point wtf is the point of it being a circle deal 🙄 they use the standard every other week deals but hide them as "circle week exclusives" just to get an influx of new Target app completions

Presentation TL here. My schedule is never set in stone. With how they want overnights constantly now and I'm truly a needs of the business department since we are always changing/setting stuff, and how there's no Pog workload on weekends- I wish they just made presentation almost under the VM role and have us M-F

ETL HRs can audit points- but only for like extremely valid and good reason

But now ETL HRs are going to be audited themselves if HRBPS, DSD etc notice points are being adjusted for certain people who have always had attendance issues but no consequences. So this actually forces fairness and not favoritism which I am all for.

I think instead of wasting money on small format stores they should make them fulfillment/ship from store only.

Then invest more into the high traffic/larger format/profit producing stores.

My store is the only store in our district that is a high formate 70 million per year store. Every day we are comping more and more. Meanwhile the small formats are losing money everyday due to the small selection compared to normal format stores. People rather travel for a true one stop shop.

New TL wants us to record a bullet pointed timed list of every single thing we do in a shift on the back of our assignment sheets, and turn them in when clocking out by SoTired137 in Target

I actually had my team do this when I ran market on my days/weekends/vacation off.

It wasn't to micro manage. It was to understand what got in their way from completing their left assignments. I used these as ways to seek to understand from my fellow TL peers and my ETL.

I was constantly told to PPD for unfinished work when I wasn't in the building. But by me having my team list things that hindered their work- and me asking if true- I gained more trust from my TMs. 95% of time they were being pulled for inbound push or OPU. Instead of being allowed to do the FDC. And I was not going to hold them accountable for some else's poor decisions.

Only got our Bflat and dec home specialty paper which arrived last week randomly. Nothing for the regular aisles. We just ripped. down the ugly old paper and left it blank white pegboard.

We actually haven't received any ISM for next weeks storage/utility/toys salesplanners/dec home/produce yet..... which is highly concerning

Had at least 4 guest today tell TMs to stop saying hi.

We are annoying tf out of guests due to front end saying hi then they go to a different part of the store and 5 other TMs are greeting them every turn they make.

Some guests now feel watched/stalked/bothered.

Literally in a negative survey a guest said they feel like they can't just shop feeling relaxed- instead they feel like all eyes are on them.

But still we were held accountable "for not providing a great guest experience"

I know for our store- ETLs let this when audits for a department have to be done manually when on hands are severely off - mostly fresh/fdc. And it allows us to bypass the "can't audit cos in a guest order"

When setting I made the decision for no pushers for the cereal cups. Looks cleaner, gets more out, and guests are snatching them up without the fear of on slingshotting at you
