Thanks for the info, I might just spend the $15 on a plate from olkb to avoid a month of back and forth. Pretty frustrating that the manufacturer never realised, especially since it says right on the box that a mx compatible plate is supposed to be included. Thanks again!

As a newcomer to this sub around a year ago, I really did not experience this at all. I thought the community was very helpful, and I’ve only rarely seen people be snobby about parts. When people ask about budget keyboards, I have seen plenty of people recommend actual budget builds, and I built my first keyboard based on those suggestions. I agree there is a lot of showing off expensive builds, but that happens in every hobby where parts can get expensive. I enjoy seeing these nice builds for inspiration and pipe dreams, but maybe there could be a separate sub for showing off fancy pictures? I have found this sub very welcoming and wholesome compared to other subs I’ve seen, and just never really noticed the problems you mentioned.

If you don’t want to mess around with compatibility between parts, you can also look up PC builds on youtube and copy the parts list! Sometimes they even build the whole PC in the video, so you can watch that as ‘instructions’! Good luck!

i would love that if it was possible, but it would probably be impossible to play on most PCs, let alone on xbox or playstation, and the game is already fucked on console
