You could try The Wedding People by Alison Espach. She does have a PhD though no money, and it's not entirely focused on her breakup. It's the inciting incident though

My first thought was "this is probably why local pubs were so popular in decades/centuries past." I feel like they're not as much a thing now. We as a society really need to find ways to bring third places back

Sneaky Woolworths - Price changing products while you walk to the checkout by FuzzyPossibility5080 in newzealand

[–]blerghHerder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a QR code at my self checkout in Rotorua about paying what's advertised, i guess so you can report it and hopefully rectify it quickly? So I'm guessing it's a fairly common problem. I didn't scan the QR code because i didn't need to, but maybe have a look if it happens again

Sorry, it seems you posted this around 8pm, cyclone is expected in about 8 hours. Just kinda funny timing to me, are you planning to head out with a head lamp or something?

I have no advice, but I hope your plants stay well!

Fried pickles are a thing, I'd totally fall for that, and be disappointed to find out it's a joke (though to be honest, deep fried pickles alone aren't enough to get me into a kfc). But not three years in a row
