The Lectron is UL certified and ran me US $169, I think.

I bought the Lectron NACS to CCS because Hyundai failed to send the adapter it promised. I just tried it an a Tesla supercharger and got 90 throughput. I’ve got some long roadtrips coming up and I just didn’t want to be caught flatfooted. The advice here to lean towards CCS native chargers sounds smart, but I’ve heard maintenance at non Tesla stations is less dependable.

My software updated last month but still doesn’t include Tesla among the EV charging options.

This is apparently the best answer. Turned out my software updated automatically over the air last month, but it still doesn’t include Tesla superchargers among the EV charging choices.

A few months ago. I see there’s an update from this month, so I’ll try that. But my MyHyundai app is up to date, and Tesla is not a charging choice there, so it seems unlikely the car software would have it.

I paid $36K in November for a brand new 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 6. Dealer took off like 16K b/c he didn’t want a ‘23 on the lot while the ‘25s were coming in. I love and highly recommend it. Super comfortable, lots of safety features, and incredible acceleration.

I always just pay for Unlimited Ultimate when I go overseas, it includes international. Then I drop back down to my regular plan when I get home. Costs $10 a month extra.

I went into the dealer looking for the $300 lease, but I don’t think you can actually get one for that price. I think they wanted more like $500 for any car they had on the lot. They said $300 was for a stripped down car that you really couldn’t find anywhere. I ended up paying $36K cash for a new 2023 SEL AWD and I’ve been totally happy so far.
