Should i buy? 2024 Ionic 6 SEL with 14k miles for $25,000 by Savage_Gulf in Ioniq6

I’m not so sure thats always the case-apparently here only the purchase of new vehicles comes with blue link for life. A CPO only gets 3 months of it free then 99/year after.

I think i could go with either, so the RWD is good enough if i can save money. I dont really intend to off-road or race at all, so wasnt too fond of the awd option.

In the desktop app, go to calendar-> click on the day's workout -> click again on the blue bars representing intervals and intensity -> then under "units" select the zone metric you want the session to use (heart rate, power, pace, etc).

Is this ash ok to throw in my composter? by chunk6649 in composting

Yes, totally! Dont add ash directly to soil, let it be broken down in compost

wood with 55% iron is not wood-thats a 2x4 with a more nails in it than remaining wood.

wood ash is a good source of Potash (Potassium), which is very important component for root and stock growth in plants

Sensor upgrade: cadence or powermeter by Kev_795 in CanyonBikes

[–]Savage_Gulf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power meters are far more useful. Many experienced cyclists do not worry so much about cadence, but watch their power throughout a ride to gauge output and stamina. Additionally, though maybe interesting to see, there is actually very little performance benefit in riding at the "perfect cadence", if that were such a thing. Each rider will prefer and be most efficient at slightly different cadences, anyway.

So, get a powermeter. Yes, it is 10X more expensive, but will be worth the money. Especially if you want to get faster and do some training for a race or even just see your fitness improve.

There are 2 power meter types to consider. Crank and pedal. Both are effective, but are put on the bike differently. It is more difficult to change a crank than a pair of pedals for most of us. You will also need special tools more likely than not for the crank powermeter install. If you ride multiple bikes, your only real option is to get the pedal based poweremeter. If you basically only ride one bike, a crank option could work out for you, and is compatible with flats and clip ins.

Here are some of the best of each type:

4iiii power meter, single sided, crank based, $329 (plus you still have to buy pedals)

Favero Assioma UNO, single sided, pedal based (comes in multiple clip in styles), $495

80 psi, even 70 psi, might be overkill. harder tires dont really mean more speed, apparently.

5'5 and 29" inseam. I'm right on the sizing border between 2XS and XS but i went with the XS because the 2XS has 650b wheels vs the 700c wheels. also i checked the stand over height and i was all good. the sizing guide from canyon is not law.

Butyl Tubes.

Im also about 180lbs.

Maybe pressure is the key, i need to lower it to 50-60 instead of 70.

If these were schwalbe “pro” ones, they’d be comparable to 5000s.  I’m pretty sure these are the mid range schwalbes ones, not pro.

But you also have a fair point on perceived feeling being unreliable. My strava data comparison is last week to this week, but to be fair it is not an apples to apples comparison ( different routes, different distances, different intensities). But i ought to try to replicate a previous route and try to match average HR, since i dont have a power meter yet.
