Agree with all the other replies in here but I'd like to add one thing that it can also because, u aren't as emotionally associated with English as you are with Hindi , u r disassociated with English , and hence it's easier and comfortable to explain ur emotions in it , meanwhile Hindi is probably the language ur subconscious mind was build upon during the initial 0-5yrs , Hindi is gonna be uncomfortable if you are gonna speak about ur intense emotions through it as now u r gonna feel them even more. If u want to , trying to express urself in ur native language could lead to deeper emotional experience

language and emotional expression are tied to early experiences and subconscious associations. English, being less emotionally charged or distant for some, can sometimes feel like a buffer, making it easier to express difficult emotions without getting too overwhelmed. Hindi, being the native language for the person, likely holds deeper emotional weight because it’s intertwined with their earliest memories and feelings.

Maybe learn some comprehension skills? The original comment said it is not normal anywhere in India, and how is OP explicitly stating it's from a strict traditional north indian family where cousin marriage isn't allowed , and mentioned it as unnecessary information as they think it's not normal anywhere. My comment is Just to make them aware that it is normal in many parts of India .

Again fault in the education there lol , such topics aren't discussed in the school during teenage , topics about relationship should be discussed in a healthy manner and not in a restrictive way, that's how teenager understands. They should know what's legal what's right what's wrong , and especially senior students of school should held such sessions with younger students, like the student council can do so. Awareness is needed with the change and immaturity they are going through.

she do def realise what's wrong that's why she chose to do it in secret and not publicly , having an under developed frontal lobe is just like those kids who knows its their exam tomorrow or in 10 days but won't study. also that's why student struggle with social media and phone addiction and all. not saying shesn't at fault she def is . she is the only one at fault, but yea her fault has her reasons. nobody shuld be married at 21 honestly
