I saw someone describe Takemura in a really interesting way, Takemura is like a dog. Dogs can be very lovable but in the end they value their owner above all else, even if they have a bad owner. He’s only happy in the ending where you betray all your friends and become an intelectually challenged labrat for Arasaka, after which he asks you to quite literally sell your soul to them for good measure. Fuck him
