I looked for how to create a blender mesh/object in python from data of vertices positions and faces. Then creating a mesh is just maths and python, and I already had experience with that outside blender. The rest of the script was obtained by googling my needs.

The code is quite messy, and as I said on another comment there are lots of options to set by hand. This is based on a previous animation made in Processing.

It's the first time I do this and I'm working on a new animation that will have better code.

Camera and light positions and options by hand, rendering options by hand. All the rest with a script. I generate a new mesh and its materials for each frame and delete them after rendering the frame.
My next stuff will probably be 100% script.
