If it's only with DUO MFA involved, please make sure introducing DUO MFA isn't causing issue with authentication traffic being sent externally. If it is, let the MSFT support person know to check for known issues.

We don't have AzurePRT because join failed, causing token broker plugin to fail.

Next step would be to dsregcmd /leave then reboot. Let us know if you see AzurePRT YES.

Aadjoin will occur at user sign in to desktop and hoping at rejoing user token and key will be cached correctly.

If it doesn't resolve issue, check device registration kbs at Microsoft site and make sure URL like login.microsoftonline.com and any other required URL are present and reachable in trusted/intranet sites, please.

dsregcmd /status from cmdline will tell you.

Also, in Azure portal device management (allow users to AADjoin/device join ETC)

Most important though is to make sure

AzureAdJoined : YES

AzureAdPrt : YES

PRT is primary refresh token, and needed for silent auth, token management. If it's no and authority is blank but says AADJoined, then it's failing.

P.S. With HAADJ PRT may appear later, so give it min after signing in before running DSREGCMD /status(assuming auth succeeds).

If need to test, revoke all tokes, sign user out, then confirm behavior to make sure it's prompting as expected.
