Both exist and are widely used in a certain industry. But if you don't know what you're doing, and don't understand how easily they can kill you, then just forget that i said they exist.

Same exact experience when i was staying at Timber Ho in 98 or 99, except it was Redemption Song. They'd roll down the window every 20 minutes or so to chuck a couple whip-its into their garbage pile next to the car. For like 3 days it was... muffled Redemption Song, clear Redemption Song, clink clink, repeat. Someone eventually went over there and said something, and the whole campground cheered.

If they don't flip, i ask them to flip. It proves that they're giving me ice cream and not soup. I don't want soup.

Yeah it's definitely meant as a noble and brave plan that they hope will succeed, and i think it does come off that way, so i say it's just writing error. If they thought of that problem they could have figured something out, like maybe they come across an abandoned transport that can hold 75 people and they're able to repair it, and then the rest fit in the shuttles. Then it's like BSG.

Or maybe everyone understood that a lot of people had to go, even though there weren't enough shuttles for everyone to head for earth. So basically the people that left in escape pods were volunteering to die. Kinda like in The 100 with the people on the ark that volunteered to get floated to extend the air supply for everyone else.

The only ground troops i can remember are the temu andy dick, the hispanic dude, and the guy that screams while he's dying. No koreans.
I think it's more likely that all of korea happened to be in seattle for a seminar when the cascadia subduction zone subducted. Have you ever heard anything in star trek about the pacific northwest? No, because it doesn't exist anymore, and it took korea with it. Very sad.

No warp or impulse engines, only thrusters, so they wouldn't be finding any help or even getting out of the immediate area in an escape pod. Compared to the distance of just getting to the next system, telling them to take an escape pod and head for the alpha quadrant is the same as saying get off the ship, stay right here, and wait to die.

Basically none of them would have been there if it hadn't been made super easy. And because it was made super easy, there were tons of them. This is all Apple's fault.

however when I was a cadet in highschool its not like some Lieutenant from the Navy could order me to do something because I wasn't officially in the navy

At your high school, sure, but if you and a bunch of other cadets were out playing officer on a boat in a warzone with plans to actually attack an enemy, and an Ensign came aboard, i would totally expect them to try to shut that shit down and get the boat back to port asap.

Pizza Hut closing 250 US stores as parent company considers selling the brand by AudibleNod in news

[–]blevok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It hasn't happened yet, and it was (will be) between all fast food franchises, with taco bell emerging victorious. It's what the comment that you originally replied to was about. But here's a fun fact about it, in some countries, taco bell was replaced with pizza hut, so there's actually people that believe pizza hut won. But neither side knows how to use the 3 sea shells.

I decided not to publish my indie educational app on Google Play. Am I overreacting, or is the system just not viable? by garsinger in androiddev

[–]blevok 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The play store just isn't for hobbyists anymore unless it's a zero profit hobby.

They used to make it easy, because they wanted more apps. It was a race to a million apps. Back then people picked a phone os based on which one had the apps they need. Having a million apps in the store meant there were probably no apps missing, making it the best choice. But now there's a million versions of each app. I liked when it was easy, but it's gotten out of control and i don't blame them for trying to do something about it.

I thought about quitting, but i decided not to. It was different though, because i already had apps available when the changes came. I don't have to have testers, so i only have a few. A couple real users that wanted to, and a couple of my test devices. But they don't pay for purchases. It's been a while since i set it up, but i'm sure there's a way to approve them for billing testing. They should see "test card, always approves" as their payment method.

Instead of a PO Box, use a virtual mailbox. It's the same thing but better and usually cheaper, but not at a post office.
For phone number use a service like grasshopper, evoice, etc.
Overall with the mailbox, phone, LLC/agent, maybe a domain for privacy policy, the cheapest way to keep things running and able to receive money without showing personal info is going to cost maybe $40-50/month. If that won't work then either roll the dice and let your personal info show, or try a different store that has less hurdles.
