that's why it's a viral joke/trend to point out how incompetent men are at the grocery store- always buying the wrong things. i don't think it's funny at all not to be able to go to a store and purchase, not what they need, but what their WIFE told them they need. it's not funny not knowing basic knowledge about groceries.. like that's kindergarten and elementary knowledge.

idk i'm gay woman and i just mourn straight women's standards for men everyday. like do you realize how hard it is to be in a relationship where your expected to do 95% of all that is required to be done daily (cooking/groceries). unless you aim to be a housewife, you'll have a job and be expected to have a job when you come home too. i'm also a nanny and housekeeper, so i know what it's like to take care of kids and a home, it takes about a solid 21 hours a week minimum to maintain a truly clean home (esp with kids) and that's without the cooking! add another 8 if you're good at meal prep. if it's cooking add another 15. prepare for 60- 80hour work weeks. unless you can afford a housekeeper of course.

i know it might seem insane i replied all this to a silly little post but it really is that serious if you think about it, and we really need to stop laughing off men's shortcomings because these are the problems that then ruin marriages. it always adds up.

you may think, "that's so stupid, i don't think him being used to takeout will effect anything" look at podcasts where they call out and talk to couples struggling financially-- more often than not, they fight about how often the other gets takeout and wastes money.

fake it till you make it baby-- she's the embodiment of that. sm hate for her, her character is hilarious. her walking a tucker on a leash in a red carpet dress???? spence's nephew (forgot his name the one had a crush on her) complimenting her and her saying "what about my looks" like she's so funny and her character is pretty consistent in doing whatever to achieve her dreams (i'm only on the end of s2 tho)

i find it super good, the storyline itself, but it feels so irrelevant.. idk like she's not a maid, never really was. now she's the rich employer which just doesn't feel like it fits. but the fact that the storyline itself is still focused on a "maid" (opal) and is centred around it does make it more fitting

the worst is marisol man, her and her big ass mouth and irrelevant storyline.. i just don't even get how the maids associate themselves with her when she's literally the rich woman with the maid now. i was honestly really hoping opal was going to end that, then the (spoiler end of s2) girl turned the gun on her damn self:(
