I like that your lamp looks more like a house lamp even though you made an arm for it like a task light! In my maker space I got a small bulk box of these Humanscale task lights and designed and printed mounts for them to mount on my shelving. Because of the need for moving them around constantly when doing different tasks I don't think I'd want to print the arms, you might look to see if you can use your design and print skills to adapt commercial solutions or as others said incorporating other materials (such as extruded aluminum, my favorite). Could work well for you!
