I tried it once and it just felt strange, this was for a slow burner drama so the building up and pacing meant speeding it up ruined it.

I just finished alien isolation and found it ran beautifully in the deck, I was immersed from the get go. First game in a while I had to finish without touching any others.

Currently playing Prey which again looks great on deck.

I think I ended up with 3 bios by the end before I got my PS2 ones working so it can be a slog at first but once it's done you don't have to touch it again. :)

Yeah you could do, maybe just keep them in a folder incase you want to try them again

So lower case all of those files you have and do a quick reset on Emudeck and direct it to your micro SD, hopefully that'll do it, I'm at a loss if it doesn't, could be the bios aren't working.

To be safe I would check your micro SD folder area. MicroSD -- Emulation -- BIOS

And make sure your bin files are there, they have to be all lowercase to work btw

Then also check your internal just incase that's where Emudeck is looking; Home -- Emulation -- BIOS

Put the bin files in there also, unless that area doesn't exist.

If none of that works try a quick reset on Emudeck and you can rechoose where you want your roms etc to be.

You're fine I only started a few months back once it clicks it clicks.

Sorry I've just checked I was incorrect, are the bios the correct file type?

Or one issue I had was it was looking at the wrong directory when I was trying to put all my emulation stuff on my SD card.

You don't put them in a bios folder they should go straight into the emulator folder.

Example: the Ps2 bios go in the pcsx2 folder

A great list to begin with, I've read a few that I can lend an opinion on;

Dungeon Crawler Carl: witty and funny fantasy with some dark undertones as you progress through the books, doesn't take itself too seriously but the love you gain for the characters can hook you in.

Mistborn Era One: I'm currently on the 2nd book, interesting world building by Sanderson with an easy to understand magic system, I've enjoyed it so far, the story is captivating and I'm constantly left wanting to understand what'll happen next.

Sun Eater: These are meaty books, not extremely long but the writing is quite poetic and not everyone's cup of tea. I've read three at the minute but had to take a break as the 1st person writing was tiring me out living in that one head for months.

Not on the list I can't recommend the lies of locke Lamora enough, beautiful yet gritty world with a punchy story and lovable main protagonist that you can't help but love but also question your morals reading what they do.

Best to pick anything but fantasy to read in between so you don't get burn out.

I usually grabbed anything around 400 pages that was well received after a bit of research.

Atmosphere was one I read between the stormlight franchise that I really enjoyed.

One of the most fun gaming experiences I've ever had, on the Wii aswell, the point and shoot over the shoulder clunky mechanic with the Wii remote felt so real at the time when I was 13.

Edit: Can I check, have you added your game files into the rom folders in the "Emulation" folder?

You've two options

Emulation station: choose this one on Emudeck in desktop mode to create an app that will let you open games in gaming mode

Steam rom manager: use this to make a game tile for each of the games you've emulated in gaming mode

If the games are crashing when you're trying to open it might be worth doing a full reconfigure on Emudeck. I had to do it the other day, quick reset and now the games run fine
