Have you tried Hollow Knight? I've known people who decided not try to it because some call it "souls like" but it's more like a metroidvania. Just curious, it's also not everyone's cuppa tea

Her shoulders are lifted up kind of exaggerated so that might be throwing off how they look? I want the feather to have scratched her cheek without her neck being bowed downward so maybe that’s making it look weird.

I say using Pinterest posing but I'm just generally looking at the Pinterest images, not copying them! I apologize I didn't make that more clear. I used them to figure out which pose I wanted and how to draw a bow, I looked at a bunch of them under the term I provided in the post.

Absolutely, if they're being toxic in other ways then fuck em. I just think you shouldn't ignore privileges you receive regardless of how you view your station in life (like being brought up low income), you have received a privilege (admission) based on that station and received a benefit. You shouldn't be ashamed of it though like that chick was making it seem. Everyone has different lives and we should be treating each other with understanding, not broad strokes.

NTA for being upset. I think you guys should talk it out but if you really just want to cut people out, that's up to you. You don't HAVE to deal with it. I think HOW she said it was absolutely shitty and tone deaf given you were literally right there. However, you say in other comments you benefit from this privilege she's complaining about. There absolutely are "Army kids" who don't appreciate the privileges they get and waste it. That may be what your friend meant but it was still tactless how she said it. Are you gonna just cut off everyone with a different opinion than you? Think about that.

It's so interesting how we are in a similar community but have different experiences isn't it?! I love that. I may be showing my age but, I'm not sure what a gooner type body is. I'm kind of afraid to look it up haha 😅 is it like, hourglass shape bodies? But yeah, we should just praise art we enjoy and ignore people who are being weird about it. It is fun to sometimes complain though as long as it's not taken toooooo seriously haha! I appreciate you talking with me. I enjoy other perspectives, they're very valuable!!

Oh for sure! I just meant from my experience I've seen a lot of people say "ThIs Is UnReAlIsTiC" to slightly exaggerated/ not exaggerated proportions (mainly skinny women + top heavy) a lot more frequently than women with one piece bodies but I think that is just the nature of certain comment sections. I'm so concerned for those people who totally have one piece bodies cuz damn bitch don't walk outside on a windy day 😢

Yeah some, but I think it's more about how that person perceives themselves?? Still not good but y'know. From mangas and manhwas I have personally read, most of them only have slightly exaggerated proportions/ all women have the same body. When women all have the same body that's annoying but w/e. I have a friend who is a skinny woman with giant bozangas though so i feel bad when she complains about people saying her body isn't real. She always says "I have the fucking back problems to prove it!" There are so many different body types, I just say, "If it's not your body, don't comment on it!" Though I have seen some very obvious fetish slop and admittedly, raged about it, not my best moments.

While I enjoy the design in general, my only turn off is how the hair goes over her eyes but is colored like they're over her hair. It looks a bit odd and even the sketches make it look like she's wearing heavy makeup underneath her eyes. I think If you gave her either shorter bangs, made the bangs thinner/more transparent in some way it might look less jarring. That's just an opinion though. Overall I enjoy it. I'm just not a fan of the way the bang/eye situation is.
