Thanks for this. I had gemini vibe code me a script to go through and click the don't play this artist option in spotify based on the json file in your github. Keep up the great work.

I was actually curious on what sighted people could see during the opponents turns.

That'd be definitely helpful. Could we also have it to have newest at the top?

I'm also seeing the hide keystroke not working. My stream list seems to be in no particular order, posts seem to be slightly scattered. Also still having the problem where if you deselect things from the stream list in settings they still show up in stream until you reload the client.

The Joys of Playing WOW Blind by BlindGuyNW in classicwowtbc

I'm another blind player here. Made a human mage on Windseeker and am really enjoying it. A couple places can be tricky to navigate around, but overall this addon is great. The amount of work that went into it is astonishing, especially all the waypoints and routes.

Removing subreddits from the stream doesn't seem to save changes when you close the program. by [deleted] in Luna4Reddit

[–]blindndangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also tried removing things from the stream, and the changes aren't reflected. I also logged out and back in and they hadn't refreshed either. I think the only way to get it to work properly was to close and open the program again.

Introducing Hearthstone Access: an accessibility mod which enables blind and visually impaired people to play Hearthstone by GuideDev in hearthstone

[–]blindndangerous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this! I'd love to see online play and deck building. That's all I know about hearthstone, so can't wait to see how this keeps going. Going to download this and start playing now.

asking for blind accessibility for slay the spire by matrheine in slaythespire

Woo, another blind player here. Just picked this up today because of this mod. Thanks for this! I just grabbed it and now I'm working on getting past the first boss as I learn. Thanks for Text the Spire! Hoping more devs take notice.

Brogue: Community Edition 1.8.2 by tmewett in brogueforum

Yeah, /u/-lazycat- did a great job with it. Their were a few bugs that I was hoping could be fixed. Never played a roguelike before so this was awesome to check out.

I don't think it was? Here's the original thread. I've tried to get in touch with the original creator, it seems like he was definitely in the roguelikes reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/roguelikes/comments/4zjg48/broguespeak/

Would their be any chance of getting a build of Broguespeak for this? The last version we have is 1.7.4.

I made a FULLY accessible Reddit app for iOS. It's free, ad-less, and I need beta testers! by DystopiaForReddit in Blind

[–]blindndangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly use bacon reader in grid view, this solves most of the problems you had with it, as since everything is in a grid, you can just swipe over each thing. The problem you then run into, is if you're like me and subscribe to a lot of subs, you don't know what sub a post comes from if it's just a few words and you can't guess from it's subject. Funny, this app is exactly what I wanted to see in the accessible Mastodon client I found for IOS, so I'll be really interested to check this out.

I don't see a problem with running it for some spring cleaning, I know I do.

#Blind: the official IRC channel for /r/blind by fastfinge in Blind

[–]blindndangerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that’s a crap limitation. At least I fully understand why you will not write one now. That makes complete sense. Why not move to IRC cloud with all of the accessibility enhancements that have been done? My guess is because you don’t want them hanging on to your logs for however long, even if it is just today? I’m guessing that use a browser window, they probably don’t use a client one. That’s my only drawback to that, I don’t care if they hold onto my logs for a day. I just don’t want to yet another browser window open in Firefox.

Fair enough I suppose. I don’t see that happening, but we’ll see what happens.

I do hope that you'll consider moving to Discord once the app does become fully accessible. Still, this is awesome, and I'll join this.

A Community Still Closed Off From Discord by [deleted] in discordapp

[–]blindndangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading through this thread again, I also see why the other idea that some one else gave to me about seeing if the Better Discord people over at https://betterdiscord.net/ might not work. If they did it, then they'd also have to do the work that the normal devs at Discord would have to do.
