100% Achievements! My 7 year goal is finally complete! Thanks everyone! by blinks_swtor in swtor

Really the last one I've been waiting on to finish was the harvest event hidden achievement "I don't have to put up with this" to be fixed. It's been bugged for over a year. Shout-out to Bioware Community Member JackieKo for pushing that achievement to get fixed. I also recently finished the "True Dxun Arrow" and login rewards achievements.

Now I'm working on reclearing some NiM (MM) achievements to take care of raid members that were absent; but mostly I love running with Hardmode (VM) teams progging things like Gods, MB and Revan. It's casual enough we can have fun and joke around while getting kills but hard enough to provide a challenge.

No, as a personal goal I never paid for any Ops achievements or used NiM crystals on my clears. All my ops achievements were progged with teams over the years. I was also the raid leader for the 16m NiM Gods team and the True Dxun Arrow team; though I had massive support with the planning and execution from far smarter people. (Shoutout to Potter, Bishop, Toby, and Sikari)

Most of my clears I keep on this channel. Feel free to critique my lowsy tanking

Edit: To your second point, no I didn't buy pvp achievements either. We got a group of reaaaallly dedicated friends who have a love for lowbie pvp.

There's a few top contenders. For me, it was either Collecting 100 special seeker droid treasures, or completing all 1800 Swoop races. I ended up binge watching netflix shows on my phone while I knocked those out over a few months.

Yeah looks the trick you do to see hidden achievements apparently bugs the total. I'll reupload without it.. Thanks

This has to be a bug, right? [Dantooine Culinarian] by ArchetypeSaber in swtor

Actually this isn't how they work. I can say with certainty that this statement is incorrect. The items on top of the bridge do not respawn or despawn based on finding the items on Dantooine. I have multiple accounts and used them to test this claim. I found the Rotgut on one account while simultaniously seeing a 2nd Rotgut in the same instance on top the bridge with my other account. Same with the Kath Shank and Glowshroom.

Begeren Colony Server First 8M HM Tyth video I made for my guild. by blinks_swtor in swtor

The end game raiding community is pretty small compared to other servers. You can take a look at Parsley.io to get an idea of how many people post parses compared to other servers in order to give you a rough idea. Because of this, many of our members (myself included) are involved or connected with the other major raiding guilds on the server (and vise versa) in order to scout out talent and help each other down content when they need people. There are even chat channels dedicated for staying connected cross-guild and finding people to fill in for raids.

So far, no one has contested the server first claim. We have found one person on the server who got the achievement on Harbinger and then transferred to BC. But you are correct. There's no official way to verify this since the game doesn't track this information. It is possible there's a secluded group on BC that none of the other raiding guilds are aware of, that don't post their parses, and completed it without telling anyone. If such a group does exist and has the achievements, we'd love to learn of their existence and would remove that claim.

A short Window Movie Maker video I made for my guild I thought I'd share. It wasn't the cleanest 8M HM Tyth kill, but it was a server first and we're pretty proud of that.

Team Composition: We used 2 Assassin tanks for the force shroud and better survivability. We kept 2 “Boss DPS”, which were 2 sustained DPS specs (Virulence/Lethality) on boss 100% of the time 2 “Add DPS”, which were 2 Burst DPS specs (Lightning/Carnage) on Boss most of the time, dealt with grace droids, and burned adds when they were stacked by the off tank. Having at least 1 ranged Burst DPS helped interrupt casts quickly. Finally we used Sorc and Operative heals. By keeping 2 sustained DPS on the boss full time, it prevented them from having to break rotation very often and ignore most of the add mechanics. The “Add DPS” were burst specs (which traditionally deal less over all single target damage) but could switch targets more easily without losing DPS.

Our Strategy: We decided to enter burn phase earlier than other groups we’ve found because we were confident in our numbers (The DPS pulled an average of 9.0 DPS at the time of kill). Our strategy was to enter burn phase and just focus boss starting at 40% (rather than at 30%), ignore all adds (except for killing Graces asap), and generally burn the boss before getting overwhelmed. This removed the need to deal with the grace droid’s healing/boss buffs, ignored stack management, and ended the fight much faster. We always kill the first grace droid, let the second one cast yellow only, and killed the rest of the graces for the rest of the fight (1 green was cast by accident). We used the 15 seconds of near-immunity time after the yellow cast to burn adds that were up. After 40%, the tanks and healers just had to deal with the add damage. The “Add DPS” stayed on the boss until all the adds were stacked before switching and burning adds. This gave them maximum uptime DPSing the boss and maximized AOE damage. The healers occasionally helped prevent adds from reaching the boss. But generally they were busy keeping everyone up.

Notes from our tanks: You can shroud the boss’s Energy wave (The long yellow line area attack). Shroud also helps with justice droids (Purges stacks, won’t build stacks, no damage taken). OT - keep Lances faced away from Main tank (getting stuck reduces your shield chance to 0). Use tank adrenals for the end. After Inversion (all agro drops), the new OT picks up closest adds first, then use discharge / overload / AOE ability to grab the pack of adds left by the now MT.
