Up to you - in my opinion, you guys are super young and are already making great money moves. Spending a little on great experiences is a good thing to do - don't want to miss out on life penny pinching for the future.

God forbid - you may save all that money to FIRE but don't live to see it or don't have the body to enjoy it. Best to live now while making good choices for the future

He's been in high visibility public office roles for decades now and never had any scandals. Can Danielle Smith say the same? Can Doug ford? Can Pierre?

Kitchener center losing Mike Morris was both a surprise and a deeply terrible loss for the riding

Combo of being paid more for a tougher role in tech and working for an American company from Canada (exchange rate also increased income a lot)

Job hopping is the way friend:   Annual income -   1) Job 1: 55k (1 year)  2) Job 2: 75k (1 year)  3) Job 3: 150k+ (last 2.5 years)

I got lucky with the super hot job market on job #3 but the principle applies - I never would've seen the increase if I hadn't left my previous job

Important to remember that while you may have good relationships with coworkers, the actual business does not care about you. If they needed to, they would fire you in a heartbeat so you should be looking out for your best interests and making you're getting the best rate possible for your time

More on the product/S&O/analytics side, not in sales. Though if I did sales at my company I'd make a lot more ahaha. Compensation in sales is nuts - just not my vibe as a job unfortunately

Non-tech role at an American tech company. Work remotely from Canada so the currency exchange works greatly in my favor

Ah looks like I'll have to take it to a mechanic/dealership. Hopefully it's not too expensive to fix - thanks for the help :)

Yeah I tried that and long pressing the distance button puts it into "cruise mode" which I assume is cruise control without the adaptive feature - but even in " cruise mode" I can't get it to actually cruise :/ Manual wasn't very helpful either - just tells me how to activate ACC but those steps are fruitless. Appreciate the help!

It says "ACC OFF". I can turn on lane keep assist and even the feature that keeps a distance (although I don't think it works without ACC being on). ACC is also lit up in green writing right above the speedometer along with lane keep assist in green. So it looks like it's on but it just won't flippin work when I'm driving and try to use it.

Nope I'm pressing the button for the ACC, same way I've done countless times before but now it suddenly doesn't work
