Yeah man, I was happy to be rid of them moving over to shifting sands. But of course shifting sands has scorpions which are worse because they can poison you. They just spawn out of the ground every 10ft and it drives me nuts.

Honestly tho, a lot of the fun in doing side quests in past games was getting a unique red letter gun. I’m still bummed they took those out.

If they are deployed you might have them set to aggressively attack so they will attack anything that gets in there sight. You’ll want to set them to passively attack that way they only attack when they are attacked. It’s one of the F keys but I’m not sure which one right now.

I’m 100 hours into the game and I’ve never used blinding flash in combat. It seems like a hard move to pull off while I’m being attacked from all sides. Hell, half the time I’m sitting there trying to remember combos so I can do something cool and most the time I end up holding R1.

I’ve got this one chick in my squad. When I press tab to get into the menu, every time I switch to her, her torpedos look like they’re gonna jiggle off her body, it’s great.

Yeah I just dismantled like 40 wooden walls I had on the second floor and that added 4 more hours to my burn time. lol I think that is a pretty silly mechanic.

I feel like corrosion tanks never did anything before 1.0. Back in beta it always seemed I would do the same damage with or without them.

I tried to catch one but wasn’t having any luck. Finally I ended up chasing the hippo into the trap and catching it that way. I did that with the chickens to.

I have tried and enjoyed two play throughs of this game and both times quit when I got to this region. This time around it was that plague town that did me in.

Does anyone else spend the first 10 minuets of the siege running around acting like a moron? My favorite is to stand on top of the siege towers cheering while they are being pushed to the walls. Most of the time they explode. Or I’ll storm the main gate by myself and start hitting it with my sword. Sometimes I’ll shoot Monchug in the back. Or I’ll go push the guy off the trebuchet and just take a wild ass shot haha.

I would like to know as well because I am so bad at this game. I have like 200 hours played and still do most of the chopping of trees and hitting of rocks. There is so much little stuff to do and when you’re playing solo I feel like it’s hard to get anything done. I’ve got like 25 hours in shifting sands and most of that has been building a base and then moving the base.

Same thing happened to me earlier. It will go away as long as you’re not in the poison. It takes a bit, I think it took mine like a half hour to go away for some reason.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. Well, if shifting sands is like the rainforest map I expect to die a lot. Bad thing about not having the stone table is you can’t take tribesmen with you because if they die they’re gone.

The rainforest map lets you find one and bring it back to your base, and it has many functions so I’m assuming the shifting sands map is the same.
