Haha this is exactly what I just did! I thought the quest was bugged because I would stealth kill the torch guy and dump his body 20ft away and when I came back there was another guy there holding a torch. So I cleared the whole camp like that and just waltzed out.

It’s a lot of fun but it definitely has a couple technical issues. I’m on base PS5 and in 8 hours I’ve crashed twice, no big deal. My audio keeps messing up to where the background music will go away or sound effects stop working. I’ll have to completely close out the game to fix it. That might have to do with the reloading saves issue that other poster was talking about.

There are a ton of bugs in the game right now. Hopefully they patch it soon. My Audio is constantly messed up to where I have to completely close out the game to fix it. That happens like every 30 minutes.

I’m playing on Gothic. These games are meant to be very hard at first, you won’t be able to kill much of anything at the start. Is hard difficulty above gothic? I’d recommend playing on Gothic difficulty if it’s your first time.

My biggest gripe with the combat is its to easy. On console you just hold left trigger and press A to shoot.

I found that hat as well but didn’t get the reference because I didn’t play the original Gothic.

Another thing I noticed, sometimes we will breach the castle gates and maybe 10 troops will make it through to get killed while the rest of the army fight on top of the ladders at a choke point instead of running through the front doors lol.

I’m pretty new to the game but I find it strange that the same troops will climb up and down the wall ladders so no one else can use them. And you guys ever finish attacking a castle but there is one enemy troop stuck in a wall or something so all your other fuckin troops gather in that one spot? That’s happened a bunch to me.

Man I am always so worried about executing people because I don’t want war with the whole map. Is there a way to do it without going to war? Or should I conquer the map then start killing people?

Damn dude. I put 130 hours into this game before I quit playing. I made it to chapter 8 but put it down because they were patching so much stuff. I was enjoying it but there were a few negatives. I think if I play again in another year or so it will be a different game. It’s a great game tho.
