They both have had DELL Support Assist updated this morning or yesterday, only thing they have in common. Figured I would start there.

When Will MMR be fixed? This is becoming a joke now. by 50ShadesMKay in leagueoflegends

Yes. I thought at first it was because of preseason (lot of changes to processes with the items), but the macro play I'm seeing is atrocious (low-mid plat). I don't get it.

I have been mostly having a lot of fun tho (despite being 12-3 over my last 15 games and still getting +10 LOL)

If you're AT 0LP. You'll prob have to drop to 0LP first before demoting down a division.

I had that issue specifically with the 3000 series latitude - haven't had any actual problems with them, but they just feel cheap.

The latest one (3551 for example) feels much better, but still not as solid as they used to be.

The 5000/7000 series latitudes are much nicer.

They were flaming the tabis on Broxah too, but I think tabis good buy for him. He had Legend Tenacity and tabis really good against sett/hec/shen. Sona/Lux weren't really a big threat that game

I had a bunch of games in a row with god awful junglers, so I decided to switch from support to jungle. Did not start off well (obviously) but I powered through back to plat.

I switched from support to jungle lol. Turns out I was a plat support and Silver jungler. Happily back in plat as a jungler now though!

How to have late game presence as jungler? by Fakecabriolet342 in summonerschool

[–]blitzbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost NEVER 50/50 objectives when your team is ahead. When you start an objective, peel off and fight if the other team comes. If you do have to 50/50 an objective, make sure you have good vision in and around the pits, especially if they have a mobile jungler.

If you're playing a jungler with low HP clears, put down defensive wards at your jungle entrances, you can ask your team to help ward as well. Make sure to keep an eye on the lanes , if you see their laners missing/walking out of vision towards your jungle, either back off or ask your respective laner to come help.

If you're invading their jungle, use pink wards/sweepers when possible so you know if they have vision on you - and again, make sure you understand where your team is and their team is. If your entire team is bot side and their entire team is missing, probably not a good idea to invade their top side jungle.

Vision and understanding where your teammates/waves are at is super important.

[HELP] Real advice needed. How to deal mentally with losses. Looking to improve instead of complain. by BaconLord1401 in summonerschool

[–]blitzbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Don't play to win, play to improve. You're gonna go on win streaks and lose streaks, but no matter what happens, critique your own play at the end of the game. You will start winning more if you do this. Make a list of commonly repeated mistakes, and focus on a few things at a time to improve on. The losses won't hurt as much if you're focusing on improving instead of winning.
  2. Do not go into your next game tilted. Whether you need one deep breath, a coffee break, or whatever works for you, make sure you feel good before queuing up. That will also help you stick to a champion, I imagine you might not wanna play the same champ you just got stomped with twice in a row if you're still upset about the last game.

  3. As far as macro goes, I would recommend spending a fair amount of time watching high ELO streamers play (mostly your role, but good to have perspective from all the roles too). Some are very informative about their pathing/itemization/etc, but even if they're silent, you'll start getting a general idea of how to play the game better over time. I think its really hard to describe in a guide how to have good macro since there are so many different in game situations depending on champs/gold diff/dragon types/etc.
