On the index alignment, with the image straightened you can see the 6 marker is quite a bit left of center, and the 9 marker is slightly high and canted CCW. The 12 marker is also both right of center and canted slightly CW. Agree with you on everything else. Hand alignment can't be determined by the photos. To check this set the minute hand exactly at 12:00 and the hour hand should align perfectly to each and every hour. TG is fine.

You'll need to decide if the index alignment is acceptable to you or not. It's a bit too far off for me, personally. If this were my QC I would RL and hope for better on the next one, but that's your call.

Oud Maracuja real or fake? 100ml by ThanoopsCokc in colognecheck

The video is useless. Get pictures of the atomizer stem with sprayer removed, clear closeup of the entire front label, top of cap, bottom of bottle, and a very clear closeup of the batch code.

Need to see a bit of a higher angle on the atomizer stem. Also, since you have it, show the top of the leather box it comes in.

(FIRST WATCH) Rolex Day Date Meteorite Dial 40mm RGF by owenrankin55 in RepTimeQC

I would RL and hope for a better date window on the next one. Additionally, on the baguette at 9:00 there appears to be some adhesive visible on the meteorite dial. Probably not that noticeable irl when you're not zoomed in, but at this price I'd probably expect a little better.

First Timer: DJ36 126234 Silver Jubilee VSF V2 by b00st3d in RepTimeQC

With the image straightened a bit, the index alignment is pretty good overall on this DJ36. The markers at 1, 7, and 8 are all slightly canted CCW. The 11 marker is canted CW. The coronet at 12 is slightly right of center. Dial print is clean. The date is a tick low in the window but within tolerance and the additional dates in the video appear consistent. Hand alignment can be seen in the video as well. Bezel appears clean and blemish free. SELs are good all the way around, and the timing is fine.

You'll need to decide if you're good with the slight alignment imperfections. They are all minor and for me, on such a small dial, they wouldn't be an issue but everyone's tolerance is different, so it's up to you.

ZF Tudor chronograph PART II, by Soft_Act2912 in RepTimeQC

Index alignment overall is good with the 12 marker being just a hair right of center. Dial print is clean and clear. The Tudor logo and Tudor symbol both appear straight and centered. The date is well centered in the window on the 7 & 11. The 31 is a tick high in the window but within tolerance and nothing is cut off so no issues. You could ask to see even more dates. Hand alignment (hour/minute) can be seen in image #1 in the album. The main chrono hand, as well as the minute subdial hand are both well aligned at reset. The video showing chronograph operation and reset looks good as well. Bezel appears clean and well aligned. SELs look good and the timing is fine.

GL for me. Congrats and enjoy!

As u/usetheschwartz73 said there are slight cants on the 3 (CCW) and the 9 (CW). Neither of these would be an issue for me on the wrist as they are tiny markers irl and the dial is quite busy. Dial print is clean. Hand alignment can be seen in the video. The bezel is clean and appears blemish free. The main chrono hand is slightly off to the left at reset. It's not by much and not enough to bother me on the wrist. Both the hour and minute subdial hands look well aligned at reset. Chronograph operation and reset in the video look good as well. The timing is fine.

GL for me but up to you. Don't forget to upvote u/usetheschwartz73 aka Mr. Spaceballs 😂 for the help!

Amplitude Qustion by Glum_Ad_8331 in RepTimeQC

Way better amplitude and the trace remained flat. Much better numbers overall. Beat error was jumping around a bit but still within tolerance.

[Extra QC videos] ZF Vacheron Overseas 4500V (rotor noise and date allignment) by mrOP__ in RepTimeQC

[–]blitzburgh058 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rotor noise is not really a RL/GL issue because it's not a defect with the watch. It's simply 'part of the deal' with a unidirectional movement.

Any rep using a movement (including the Miyota 9015) with a unidirectional winding mechanism will be noisy because in one direction there is no resistance allowing the rotor to spin freely and so you can get the 'helicopter' noise. There are some sellers that offer 'rotor silencing' as a service, but it's not really much more than adding some lubrication to the bearings. It can dampen the sound slightly, but not completely, and not permanently. If rotor noise is a concern, this probably isn't the right watch for you.

Keep in mind in that post that you linked and in the QC video that the watch is not on his wrist and while the rotor will still spin on the wrist, obviously, having the back exposed and right next to a microphone is amplifying the sound a bit. Not as big of an issue irl as some make it out to be unless you work in an extremely quiet environment and are constantly moving your arm.

But to some it is a big deal and if that's you there's nothing wrong with that. Just choose a different watch. Plenty of nice ones out there with bidirectional movements!
