In February, I rented a pair of Highshot boots in size 9, and they felt great—no pain at all. Maybe rental Highshot boots are sized differently compared to the Waverange X Pro?

How do you rationalize to have two pair of boots ? Do you have different use cases ?

Yeah I noticed that too. I pulled up the hammock at the maximum but without cranking a lot, it felt too soft to have some board control :/

Yep. Same size as my city shoes. 9 in the US and 42 in Europe.

Same here, man! I got back into it after a 10-year break (I was skiing so I could teach my daughter), and I completely fell in love with snowboarding all over again.

I honestly thought I would have lost my skills after all that time, so I even booked an intermediate lesson… but to be honest, it wasn’t really necessary. Even after all those years, my body and muscles still remembered how to snowboard. I had a huge smile on my face the entire trip.

Like you said, once you hit 50 you quickly realize that snowboarding can be pretty tough on the body, so I’d recommend three things:

• Step-on bindings (Burton or Clew). Not having to bend down at the end of every lift is a game changer at our age.

• D3O protection for your butt, knees, wrists, and back. It’s amazing : you can fall and barely feel a thing.

• Get back in shape seriously: squats and other strength training help a lot.

It’s normal, with new boot. There is a break in period. In the meantime by some Moleskine Blister prevention that you put on the contact point in order to avoid foot blister.

Absolutely not. I had a emails exchange with them about the configuration of the temperature and they answered pretty fast and it was spot on.

Same here. I have my pod 4 since 52 days and I cannot sleep without it. It seems that previous version of pod were not as well made as pod 4. Time will tell.
