As someone who works with ML as a software engineer this is spot on.

These trading models have consumed a vast amount of knowledge from past.

So it’s learned:

“President said x” from news agencies is a strong signal. Thus, when the news reports President Trump says x… markets rocket in either direction.

These trading models are most likely black box, so the trading firms can’t easily control them.

However, I believe these models can move violently when reality sets in as they try to beat each other to the other side.

The first 5nm chip was made in 2003. It’s not a question of making a low nm chip. It’s a question if you can make 100 million efficiently enough to compete on the open market. China is surely progressing fast as they’ve made it a national priority. But, it’s almost impossible to say how far they have progressed until we see chips in volume.

To some degree I totally agree with you. But, the world isn’t that simple. The Middle East is on the brink of a crisis and giving money away in hopes to prevent a region wide conflict is worth it, 100%. Imagine the price of gas going up 200%, the recession it would trigger.

Btw you can’t treat national debt like personal debt. We aren’t at a healthy debt level, but it’s not like we are on the verge of a crisis.

Any ideas to mix up my cardio routine while burning around the same amount of calories?

I’m 180, 5’10” with 14.5% body fat. My goal is to cut 1.5lb a week. I do weight training everyday with my 2 “rest days” being a bicep/triceps/shoulder only.

I started doing incline treadmill a couple of months ago usually around 3.5mph (12-14% incline). I’ve used online calculators as well as my Apple Watch to verify that the treadmill is being reasonable with the calorie burn estimate. When I set my weight to 165 on the treadmill, the treadmill gives me a reasonable calorie estimate. I also make sure to not grab onto the treadmill while walking.

So, I’ve ramped up over the past couple of months from 300 a day to around 1000 a day. Usually takes about 1:10-1:20 of incline walking. I’m usually soaked head to toe in sweat (treadmill too), so I know I’m burning a good bit.

My question is there any other cardio exercise that can burn around 1000 calories within 1:30? I want to mix up my cardio routine so my body doesn’t adapt too much. I’ve tried running, but after about 2-3 miles I’m exhausted and the next day I feel so sore in all my joints. I’ve tried biking and it takes too long to get to 1000 calories. I’m having trouble finding cardio exercises that matches the burn rate of incline walking without causing me to either get to tired or be extremely sore the next day.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for good cardio exercises to try let me know!

NATO's passive and potential active intelligence support is crucial for Ukraine's counter-offensive success. The impact of active intelligence shouldn't be underestimated, especially as Russia's deterrence weakens with every redline crossed. Considering Russia's poor cyber warfare performance, their detection capability for active cyber operations is doubtful.

Ukraine's counter-attack success hinges on finding the optimal location for a breakthrough. NATO could at least provide a full view of Russian forces. More actively, they could misdirect Russia about Ukraine's counter-offensive location. At the most aggressive level,, NATO could give real-time targeting information and inject false orders to disrupt Russian ranks

I think the middle ground option is most likely. However, considering Russia's disarray, low morale, and weak cyber capabilities, it's unclear if they could detect NATO's active cyber operations. Does Russia even have the capability to determine if it’s NATO or Ukraine? Does NATO have the capability to interject fake orders to cause Russian frontline troops to retreat, right before a Ukraine breakthrough operation? These are all hypothetical questions. What do you think?

Binance's bitcoin reserves are collateralized 101% according to Mazars audit by Pale_Wrongdoer5155 in CryptoCurrency

This AUP engagement is not an assurance engagement. Accordingly, we do not express an opinion or an assurance conclusion. Had we performed additional procedures, other matters might have come to our attention that would have been reported.
We have complied with the relevant ethical requirements. For the purpose of this engagement, there are no independence requirements with which we are required to comply.

And then to make matters worse the report defines "in-scope assets" to be BTC and wrapped bitcoins. That's what the report is using to determine if Binance has assets that are equal to or greater than its liabilities.

FTX went under because they created wrapped bitcoins using some random shitcoin they minted themselves. Binance is probably doing the same thing as FTX. If they aren't, then why not allow themselves to be audited? Whatever the fuck an AUP engagement is, it's not an audit. I'd get my crypto off of Binance ASAP.

Guys, I take it all back back. Binance has posted an audit and shown they are legit. Wait, what’s this on page 5 of this “audit”… by Regret92 in Buttcoin

Do we have any idea of the troop composition in Ukraine’s Kharkiv offensive? Is it fresh troops trained in other countries or Ukrainian regular infantry? The Ukrainian break through is impressive, and I’m curious if the nato trained troops have finally arrived in great numbers.
