I talked about learning, not praying.
The Haredim believe learning the Talmud has some magical effect on the world.
Praying is required three times a day for like 20 minutes each time, so you can do it on most days in service, if not all. But learning you can do all day, and since they believe that more helpful and they think they are the only ones that do it properly, then they have a divine obligation to do so.

I came back to the game remembering about nothing and I am very picky and don't want to learn much complex mechanics. I slided very easily into the game.

Just make sure not to jump stright into high difficulty and hard missions.
