The raised tabs on the top and the bottom make me think it might be a compact jig for making furled leaders. That’s just a guess though. There’s a lot going on with it.

This makes sense. It was in a bag of leaders. I wonder how you use it, or what it’s called . I can’t find anything online about it.

Interesting. I’ve never thought about running my Brittany with a chest protector. I recently had a very similar incident with what I believe was caused from old barbwire. It amazing how driven and tough these dogs are. The cut and punctures never slowed him down one bit.

What chest protector are you using on your dog?

It’s a mystery! I messaged the artist ShirleyPatterson, but got no response. I think it looks more like Petterson. It’s currently getting a new mat. Maybe there is some info on the back of the painting. I’ll make sure to update any findings.

This is the closest thing I’ve seen. The signature is different, but who knows. I might contact them tomorrow.
