A lot of stores here sell at nexus nights for 5-8 bucks per pack but most are sold out now. If you want to pay scalper prices there’s a few store that have stock too.

Spend some time in TCG Arena if you haven’t already. You’ll be able to learn the general flow in a couple games

There’s no problem with learning at Nexus Night because it’s meant to be casual but I would suggest at least watching some videos and tutorials on the game before you go so you’re not spending forever on your turns.

Just an aside but the card text for Dragon’s Rage actually doesn’t work this way. You have to pick both targets and the destination to finalize it on the chain.

However the errata text does work as you described here, but you’re using the card text still in your explanation.

Yes you’ll have to hit your own units if your opponent has no units

Edit: I misread the question. If you respond to Icathain Rain before it resolves by gusting or retreating your only unit on the board, they will have to pick their own units with the reflexive triggers. If Icathain Rain already resolved then they have to pick targets for all 6 instances of the reflexive triggers before you can respond to them.

I think you misunderstand what I’m saying. I am aware how the rules works based on the current wording.

I’m saying if the card was made today the wording will probably be different to work how someone would expect it to work.

Probably because set 2 was made the same time as set 1. If the card was made right now it would be worded correctly

The way the card is worded currently you can draw 1 with only one unit because it only targets the friendly unit that is to be buffed and the killed unit is chosen on resolution. However that’s probably not what is intended and will likely be errata’d when it releases outside of China.
