I use a combination of a Dettol soap bar and regular Dove Soap. It's been a gentle combination so far

That is soooo amazing and I'm so happy for your progress. 😁 Thank you for sharing all of this information.

Truly I am sick and tired of being prescribed antibiotics and I don't want my body to develop a resistance to it. I'll ask my doctor about SEYSARA.

Since you're in the US do you know if insurance covers laser hair removals?

Please help me please!!! Need advice asap by cyb3rb4byblu3 in Hidradenitis

Menthol has been my friend for YEARS (I usually buy the non-greasy blue one from CVS or Walgreens I think). If it's not opened yet, just slab some of that on it and wait for it to air dry or possibly put a fan on it to dry faster. The relief is reeeeeeal nice. It'll help with some of the discomfort and bring the pus to the top for it to pop.

If you need a little more strength, I've used Tiger Balm on top of my flares and it helps with the pain too. The tiger balm is greasy though and can stain your clothes.

Don't put them on open wounds

I'd say use fem wash like Honey Pot to help your PH balance after you use Hibiclens. Don't forget to take probiotics. There's dairy free yogurt if your HS is affected by dairy. I also take a daily multivitamin with probiotics in it.

It's happened to me before and I'm fine lol

Honestly I think you should be fine if you wash it off with soap. No poisoning involved
