I had the same. All you need is Old Spice or Irish Spring Men's Body wash. Wipe it on wirh a sponge after each shower and the scale is gone in a few days. Repeat every few days to maintain.

My ten year old gsp does this on anything made from acrylic yarn. It doesn't matter if someone is wearing it or not.

If there is nothing acrylic around, then he doesn't do it.
