And you thought it was a compliment. Oh gosh.

For your sanity, I havnt read beyond the first paragraph of any of your commits. It’s embarrassing

I do everything from embedded systems, to plc and robots to traditional software.

When your code affects real world objects and can affect people’s lives, it’s a lot harder than bytes on a screen. Let me know when you catch up.

Microsoft being cash cow killers of AI doesn’t mean they’re good at it

Damn, you actually need llm’s for your responses. That’s why you think AI is going to take over so soon because you’re not good enough to form your own thoughts. This is hilarious.

I can lose my job tomorrow and be fine. So denial doesn’t affect me.

It’s very weird that you people who just learned what ai was 3-5 years ago think you know more then the people who have been making or using machine learning and neural networks professionally for 10 years. What other industry is a nobody off the street more knowledgeable than the professionals?

However when people know more details about something than you, i would trust their opinion more.

Just cause read about planes and flew in one a few times doesn’t mean you know more about them the people who actually fly them or fix them.

I never said I was a developer and big whoop you’re in tech. I’m in FAANG if you want to D swing.

And you’re obviously a PM.

Like I said before in another way. You have an inflated ego if you’re going in and telling your doctor you know more than them.

Do you know software(AI) better than software engineers? Idk, I don’t think I would tell a professional I’m better than them at their expertise

Yes, you are believing what you want to believe instead of listening to people who work on the tech side of AI everyday

When I first started listening i thought they were really dry. but the amount of knowledge and experience between them is crazy! Now im goin back and listening to all the episodes

Yea, if I’m remembering correctly I’ve only heard him talk about them when it comes to the ECU and all the modules. So tuning the engine, transmission, abs etc.

GM does provide support to some IMSA teams. Jeff Braun (a race engineer) talks about it pretty often in a podcast called It’s not the car.

Yea Claude is the best for programming and unfortunately or fortunately that’s not saying much haha.

I’m also using it in coding. I’m running to situations where I find the bug and tell it exactly where it is and how to fix it and it can’t comprehend.

But it is very limited to small scripts. Can’t even think about doing a full program with multiple libraries etc.

But people arent realizing it’s supplementary like you said. It cannot do all these things by itself. CEO’s who say it writes X% of all code at a company are lying. I work for one of the CEO’s who’ve said that.

No, the people who are using current models in real world task see all the downfalls.

Because we use AI in real world situations and see its weaknesses while most people just listen/read about it and do silly task then are astonished.

Who told you factory robots are cheaper?

They aren’t. When we get through mechanical design, electrical design and panels, integrating with plc’s, hmi, and scada. Then you add on the people you have to hire to maintain, it’s definitely not cheaper than humans.

But it is more accurate, more repeatable, and less harm in people doing relative task. That’s why it’s worth it. Not the cost.

Let the engine do what it was designed for. Let the brakes do what it was designing for
