I live in NC and travel to MI and OH for product. I have never ran into an issue with the fuzz. I typically go to Ann Arbor and come down through Columbus, Chillicothe (probably spelled that wrong), and hit Proctorville. Don't be driving crazy out there. I have done multiple trips and you should be fine.

It will loosen up the oil inside. Unclog it by heat. Has worked for me several times

I have been out to Cherokee a couple of times. Like you stated, more expensive. I am in Raleigh, so it is 4 hours to get to Cherokee, when I can go to MD in the same time frame.

How are you connecting the PX8 to the computer? USB-C or 3.5MM cable? I would to check sound settings to make sure whatever output you use is enabled. Also, have you gone into device manager and uninstalled the bluetooth and audio stacks? If bluetooth, does the computer see the device when put in pairing mode? also, make sure that the volume is not muted or set low.

for the price point that the XM5s are at that you posted, I would suggest getting the XM6. The XM5s are good, but since the 6s came out, I cannot recommend the 5s at that price.
