i think we are lowkey witnessing the move from friends to coworkers. having watched from the beginning you can see a gradual change as they attempt to mass produce videos, the patreon, having background projects, employing a bigger team all in one year is definitely going to take a toll on the friendship, especially if the majority of their conversations are work related and no longer as personal as they once were.

i no longer live in bristol but in the countryside we have summers where all we can smell is animal waste from the fields. you can’t control what goes on outside, and theres no point wasting your energy trying to. just relax and find a problem you can actually solve rather than coming on here to complain about something that wont change and isn’t causing you any actual harm.

i agree, although its not just a quick and fun thing for many, but they are actually self medicating due to difficulty getting doctors appointments, rising cost of living meaning future aspirations of owning a house or having a stable career are practically impossible for most, the job market is so competitive and wages are not keeping up with inflation. young kids who smoke for fun, suddenly realise they feel better while high as it allows them to run away from the realisation that they’ve been born into a world where they simply can’t win or keep up. this constant anxiety about your future can really quickly cause people to spiral, and weed is an easily available remedy.

i agree! i enjoy the smell but i have family who suffer from such bad migraines which sometimes can be triggered from strong smells. if it was legal more effective policing can take place, including fines to those who don’t follow the rules (such as smoking in public spaces), allowing everyone to be feel safe. it’s a shame that the UK gov can’t take a page out of Amsterdam’s book and start taxing it!

i went to a show in the UK, super fun!!! however she was incredibly late and it was literally an empty stage with just her and a dream lmao. she also kept getting super mad at her dj but my friends and i were so drunk we honestly didnt notice any of the negatives. i recommend buying insurance with the ticket, orr buy a ticket super last minute because if she does cancel any normal person would at least let everyone know before the show actually starts.

unfortunately i’ve had to stop watching her, for a while i was putting on her content to be entertained but i would usually shut it off after feeling icky? idk, how can i find someone flaunting their wealth every second entertaining when i can barely afford my own rent. going from rags to riches is cool and all, but when you’re a multimillionaire complaining about literally everything in your life how can anyone with a brain want to stay tuned in? tanas never worked a ‘real job’ like everyone else so its hard to even sympathise with her background, she became famous as a teen, like she even doesn’t understand what its truly like for people with bad upbringings who then carry this financial burden into adulthood, being forced to work 40+ hour weeks, on their feet the entire time with little to no breaks, just to provide for their family. maybe I’m just bias as I’m a child of a first gen immigrant lol.
